Personality "Hm? What do you mean 'normal'?" In simple words, it's probably normal to say that Neruzvati is not normal. Not just her appearance, but also the way she acts and the way she lives her life. In terms of morals, she's not sure what's right or wrong, so she often does worrisome stuff without meaning too. Her naivete also doesn't help, as she often thinks people are being honest when they talk. At the very least, she is always honest, and doesn't lie. Sometimes that's troublesome, though.
Though, sometimes, there is something truly off about Neruzvati. And not like she is usually. Oft it's her honest and naive nature, that speaks weirdly and does troublesome things. That said, sometimes she gets into this strange state where she almost seems malignant. It would come out of nowhere, she gets the urge to hurt something, put her stoned claw on something and simply scratch at it. This is not with intention, and she doesn't remember anything that happens when she is in this state. It's safe to say though, that it's best to stay away from her when she's in this state. Though for some people it's probably hard to stay away from someone that looks to be in so much pain.
History: "Without meaning too, I, back then, destroyed my biological parents."
Destruction... Obliteration, Crushing, Evisceration. A being born with all of these urges, Vati was called a demon by others. Ever since birth, it wanted nothing else but to destroy and obliterate. It killed those that birthed it, it crushed those that tried to stop it. It maimed those that tried to calm it down. Never ending feelings of wanting to destroy all that was in front of it. Yes, until the day it died.
Yet, Vati was a powerful being, it locked away a small side of itself and followed the cycle of rebirth. Taking over the body of a newborn child. Only this time, it was different. Overcome by human emotions, Neruzvati felt guilt and anguish. A piece of its mind snapped that day, and thus the girl named called Neru was born. An innocent child, with no sins of her own. Yet, deep inside Neruzvati still lingered, its mind broken and repressed.
Ever since, Neru was learning. Her favourite thing in the world was always reading. She enjoyed her time at school and her parents loved her, even though she was different. Being the incarnation of a destructive being changed her from her human routes, and turned her into something else. Not quite demon, but also not human. A third eye had settled herself on her head, and she was often treated differently.
On occasions she was called a Youkai, other times she was merely called creepy. Perhaps due to being bullied, different things surfaced and the being known as Vati awoke. Yet, with no memories to call its own, it simply did as it was, only being held back by the conscious of one little girl. An incident occurred.
After that day, the girl didn't come outside anymore. She somewhat knew, that it was her fault. Yet she remembered none of the events that transpired. Though, locking herself in her room impeded not only her mental growth, but also filled her with a sense of loneliness. So she started making up imaginary friends.
Still, despite being locked in, her favourite thing to do was still reading. So she did, many times, sometimes she read the same book again and again. It was if the words flowed from the paper and into her mind. Her parents were somewhat indulgent, buying her new books carefully picked. Though, over time, they got less and less so and simply let her order them.
Through this, it was that the second incident gave birth. As books that should be far out of hands from a young child such as her were read. Some might call them tomes, grimoires even, but to Neru they were no different from the childish books she read before. All the information simply flew into her mind as if she had always read the book.
Thus, magical energy flowed through her lips but not her body. After all, she was originally born a normal human. Even if she knew the practical methods, she was unable to replicate them. That was, without a catalyst. Though, that wasn't to say that some magical effects from those books couldn't be brought forth. After all, there weren't just tomes in her collection.
A cursed tome most foul nearly ended Neru's life. Through intervention from Vati though, said affliction was 'destroyed' before it could reach her heart. That said, there were repercussions, as half her body was covered in a stone like cover. At first, she was unable to even move but a muscle. Though, through use of her third eye, she 'fixed' this mistake and soon was able to move petrified parts of her body as if they were never turned into stone.
This went on for a long time, and perhaps one could call it benevolence or patience, but even that ends one day. Her parents forced her out of the house, unable to live with the fact what their daughter had turned into. Leaving, she would not be able to hear the news that her parents got divorced soon after.
She stayed the night in a library nearby, and after reading many books she was soon forced out there as well. That said, before she was, she had seen a pamphlet. Following her curiosity, she took a taxi... but being unable to pay she was cursed at and left. She had reached her destination through many problematic ordeals.
Though, she'd soon find herself disappointed once she found out that she had past the age for normal schooling. So instead she tried to find some other way to handle her efforts... through many legally-questioning activities, she ended up in a room at the Plato building. Of course, it's not like she had a job, that said, a kind man had decided to pay for her daily necessities.
All she had to do was use her third eye to 'fix' many of his theories and help with his research. It wasn't easy, having such a job-like experience after having been locked up in a room her entire life. Yet she eventually found that being able to eat things because she worked for it was pretty nice. Perhaps her mind is a bit childish at times, still. She is definitely somewhat naive and inexperienced in normal things. She has a roommate too, a cat she decidedly named Black Cat. Because the cat had black hair. The most surprising thing was that the cat could talk, which cat usually didn't do.
Though, somehow the cat was also a bit weird. It seemed to know more than it let on... of course, Neru doesn't really understand such secretive behaviour. Her daily life is filled with happiness.

Powers and abilities
Eye of Shiva The third eye that allows Neruzvati to see things one cannot normally see with the naked eye. It not only allows her to see many things, such as the flow of mana and energy, but also spiritual things such as ghosts and magic formulas. Though this eye only allows her to 'see' these things, and not act upon them. Even though she can see mana, she cannot use it. Even though she can see the formula behind a spell, she cannot replicate it. Even though she can see ghosts she cannot touch them. The third eye also has a secondary effect, albeit a bit minor one. Anything it sees is immediately taken up as information into the brain. It also fixes any errors in a formula. This in its entirety, allows her to see through illusions and other effects that'd affect her vision. She'd still hear illusions that'd affect her hearing or sense of touch. That said, as long as she can see something, she will immediately understand and see through it. The third eye cannot be fooled... of course, Neru herself might. - Analyze, Recreate, Eliminate
- Eye of Shiva
Utilizing the data and information that enters Neruzvati's head upon using the Eye of Shiva, Neru gains additional information about objects and people she scans. In the case of objects, it's manufacturer and how old it is, what kind of object it is and its functions. When scanning a human or animal, she will find out the figure's name, age, body information (Height and weight) and if they are suffering from any illnesses or malfunctions. In the case of the name, it's taken to be the name they identify with. And in the case of Illnesses, it's only documented illnesses that have a scientific name, that affect the physical body. One cannot access one's mental formula despite the scan.
With this more informative data Neru is able to recreate objects using her preservation power, as long as she has the materials required to make something in her storage. Additionally, using this information, the illnesses and malfunctions of a human can be 'erased' with Vati's power, as long as this 'illness' isn't the cause of a curse or other magical effect. This only works with natural born illnesses. Such as things that are added to the body's formula after its creation. Things that have always been there, like being born paralyzed or the aging process itself, despite being a manner of illness, cannot be erased.
The speed at with she erases the illness is dependant on how severe the illness is. This could be rather short in the case of a flu, or strenuous and long in the case of chronic illnesses. This could take up to a few seconds in the case of the former. And 8 hours in the case of the latter. There are some that might even take up the entirety of the day.
A being that unmakes (Vati) Destruction, the ability to destroy. There is no exception, one can destroy anything and everything. Utter annihilation and the ending of all. To turn something into nothing. This was the ability the being known as Vati held. Only of which a minor fragment was carried over after its rebirth. It's rather comical, a being of destruction trying to create something. In the end, Neruzvati's current destructive capabilities are lacking. There are many conditions to activate the ability. That said, if all of these prequisites are completed, the ability can be activated. These prerequisites are as follows:
- One cannot destroy anything without understanding it. - One needs to know the formula behind something to be able to create a counter formula that'd get rid of that one. Meaning, her eyes allow her to see the world in numbers and symbols, much like a regular formula. She needs to have seen and read the formula of something to destroy it.
- One cannot destroy a living or sentient being. - A living being's state is always changing, thus, its formula is a complicated cipher that is impossible to understand. The same involving a sentient being, albeit there it's the changing formula of a mental state and not a physical state.
- One cannot destroy anything that exceeds a size over a cubic meter. - Due to the involved formula, at her current level, Neruzvati cannot create a counter formula strong enough to exceed this size limit. This also means that if said target exceeds this size limit it cannot be destroyed. This is due to a conflict of formulas that would cause an 'error' so to say if part of its data would be missing.
- One can only destroy a singular target at a time. - Due to different objects holding different formulas, even if all of said objects wouldn't exceed the size limit, it's still impossible to create a singular formula that'd destroy multiple things.
- One cannot destroy anything that holds a counter-production clause. - Any formula that has a clause that states [Immortality] [Indestructible] or other effects under such a state cannot be destroyed, period.
- A destruction cannot create a paradoxical effect. - As it states, if one is supposed to die under the circumstances it is under, it cannot be made to not die by destroying the concept of death. As such, one cannot destroy anything that would create a state which should not be possible under said circumstances.
- This power can only be used when under the influence of Vati. - Due to the power being owned by the being of destruction, it can only be used when Vati surfaces. Even if all of the conditions above are met, Neru is not able to destroy anything.
If all of these conditions are met, destruction is possible. Be it physical, magical, Liquid, solid or gas. Whether it's only a concept or an entire state of being. As long as the conditions are met, it can be destroyed. This destruction itself comes in no special form. The object merely ceases to be, crumpling in fragments and disappearing into nothing. There is no special incantation, no other requirement than the clauses. Once the destruction happens, the third eyes on her head destroys it. There is nothing that can stop a destruction from happening unless the clause states as such. At the same time, if her third eye is closed during the destruction it's possible to prevent it with magic that would normally do so. For example, magic that would repair it or magic involving time. As there is no way to get something back once its destroyed, for it has turned into nothing, a magical construct that can be created freely can still be created. It doesn't destroy anything that shares its formula if it comes after the destruction. Destruction cannot prevent creation, but once something is destroyed it cannot be fixed or brought back. A new creation can be made, but it won't be the same thing as before. Under these clauses, there are many different things one can use to affect Neruzvati. Albeit, playing into her powers will give her the edge, so be sure not to use slow singular magic attacks. Attacks involving your body or rapid attacks that'd exceed her rate of destruction are most recommended. Though the best way to fight against it is to prevent it. Things that would blind her, like smoke or pure darkness are most effective.
A Curse of Petrification Medusa's petrifying gaze turned foul. A curse that originally intended to turn one's entire body into stone stopped at a most opportune time. Vati was able to formulate and destroy the curse before it spread too far, that said, is unable to destroy the parts that are turned into stone already. So, using the formulas it could see, destroyed the concept of stone not being able to move.
Now, it's almost like a stone armour cover that spread over half her body. Spread over her right arm and most of her chest and waist area. It also covers some of her neck and face. This area, while moving as smoothly as skin, is still stone. It's hard and hard to get through, and will feels tough to the touch. A form of natural armour that is quite strange to see on a being made of flesh.
This stone is as hard as stone and will prevent most sharp objects from passing through to some extent. Though it's only her skin, and not her inner functions that are stone like. So when she's stabbed it's still hurt and harm her. As it is right now, it just prevents shallow attempts at her life. Guns still easily pierce through and kill her, though the low calibre guns might not pierce her skin entirely and get stuck halfway through.
Though, the stone covering her right hand turned said hand into somewhat of a weapon. Some sort of stone claw, as her nails turned to stone. Said claws are sharp and rather tough, and in turn don't break or snap when used offensively. It can also be used defensively to block bladed weapons. A strong multi-purpose tool for combat that only really sees use when Vati surfaces.
Preserver of Knowledge (Neru) Preservation, along with creation, is by all rights the complete opposite of destruction. Something that isn't destroyed but kept and held in a safe location. This power is the epitome of Neru's desire to preserve all knowledge. Along with Vati's capabilities for destruction, Neru's body has become rather proficient at the bending of space, getting used to Vati's constant interference with space itself by erasing entire formulas of existence. Due to this, Neru instinctively awoke to a power while not even being aware of her other half's rampant chaos.
Neru has gained the power to preserve the formulas she can read. These formulas are saved into a separate space that isn't affected by the passage of time. Thus, food doesn't spoil, a watch wouldn't tick, and an object in momentum would stay in momentum once removed from the space.
Her ability to preserve, as in, her ability to transfer the object to this sub-space, holds the same limits as her power of destruction with one exception. And that is that instead of Vati, this power can only be used when Neru is in charge of the body. The current limit to the amount that can be stored is 20 formulas. The weight and size doesn't matter, as long as it falls under the clause limits. This is both good and bad, as she can store heavy things easier without causing any strain. But even the lightest of objects will take up a slot. So each individual book she would want to carry with her would take up a slot. There are way around this though, for example, putting all the books into a bag and then storing the bag would give you the formula for a [Bag of Books] instead.
Equipment - She has the common household things in her apartment, though she doesn't really use most of them. - A large collection of books. - Clothing she really doesn't wear. - A robe that covers her entire body, generally the only thing she wears. - A staff-like cane or a cane-like staff? Let's just call it a really long walking stick. |

Looks fine by me, though I have a question on her ability not being able to destroy things with an [indestructible] clause. Because "absolute" type abilities aren't something we allow here. So is her profile talking about enchantments and that sort of stuff protecting an item? And what about materials that are so durable that they might as well be considered (as close as the site can allow) virtually indestructible? That's the thing about conceptual abilities - they work based on "rules", rather than "quantification".
And that being said, for the size limit not exceeding a single cubic metres, does it apply to a whole object, or can she target a portion of it? Like, she might not be able to destroy a tank, but the current writeup certainly doesn't stop her from taking a chunk out of hull, removing a section of its armour plating to expose the crew and/or its inner workings. And given the way its written, there's no armour too tough for her power to breach.
So yeah, just needed some clarifications here, thank you.

Yeah, the indestructible clause is mainly for objects which would by all logical rights be considered as such. Be it due to it's durability, magic protecting it or some sort of enchantment. After all, one of the clauses speaks that she cannot target living beings or sentience.
Your second concern is something I thought of as well. But this zone is more of a limit and less of an indicator. If it exceeds the size of the zone in its entirety she can't destroy it as that target would share the formula. This power is something that would 'delete' a formula as it might be said. She cannot delete a part of the formula as that would simply be like pressing backspace.
The basic premise is that she doesn't enter the word document to delete text, but she just instantly deletes the word document itself. I added that to the size clause to make it more clear. I hope that alleviates some of your concerns.

Oh, and one more thing - because it just slipped my mind when I reviewed her the first time. While you go into the mechanics of how her "Unmaking" power works - i.e. the conditions that need to be met before she can use her power... the writeup never specifies what form of attack does this ability take? i.e. does she fire beams of energy that disintegrate the target on contact? Does she touch them? Or does she just say some magic words while thinking of the thing she wants to destroy (provided the conditions are met) and then poof it's gone? And how does an object exactly get destroyed? Does it dissolve into a puddle of goo? Or perhaps crumble into dust? Or just magically ceases to exist?
And on top of that, care to elaborate on what "understanding the formula" means?
- Quote:
-
One cannot destroy anything without understanding it. - One needs to know the formula behind something to be able to create a counter formula that'd get rid of that one.
Like, what does it entail? Knowing the chemical structure of the constituent materials? The process that goes into its construction? Like say, if she wants to destroy a gun that's being pointed at her - does she need to know the materials used in its construction? Or the parts that allow it to work? (i.e. a typical revolver consists of a body, a cylinder, a trigger and a hammer) Or the workmanship processes put into assembling it?
Please elaborate on these details, thank you.

Added more details and elaborated on the formula things.
The basic gist is that she can see the world in formulas, and as long as she can see it she can destroy it. As it is written, the basic premise is that as long as she can see it she can destroy it, due to her third eye. The first clause could basically state 'One must be able to see it' as well, but this is more along the line of her third eye. If she didn't have the third eye, this power would be unusable.
Also wrote down how she destroys it. In the way it is stated, the way she destroys it is by seeing it with her third eye. It'll shine red and start destroying it. The best comparison I can give you is Balor's eye, which destroys all that it sees. It'll break down into fragments and then disappear into nothingness.

Upgrade Season 2018 - Neruzvati
Adding a sub-power to [Eye of Shiva]

Alright, I'm going to actually have to comment on this one.
My main inquiries lie with the procurement of a name for humans and animals, along with illnesses.
First off, just what name is displayed? Is it the name an individual identifies with? What if this name differs from the one they are commonly known as? Is it the one they use legally? What if they, say, suffer from amnesia, and cannot recall their name?
For illnesses, I will assume this power applies to illnesses known to the medical community by large. In this case, does this power show mental disorders and the like? If so, how does it classify what could be a mental disorder versus, say a maligned character trait? Similarly, with the power to "erase illnesses and malfunctions" does that mean she can also reverse the effects of aging? After all, some doctors consider aging to be the ultimate disease etc etc.
Some food for thought there.

Oh shit, okay. Clearly you thought about this far more than I. In the case with the name, it'd be the name they identify with, and not any true names or the likes. So if someone is called Alexandra and prefers being called Alex, it'd show the latter.
In the case with Illnesses, yes, it'd be just documented illnesses. And it wouldn't show mental disorders as she cannot affect the mental formulas of living beings. Normally she can't affect the body either, but with this power it's mostly pin-pointing the illness and not the body itself.
And lastly, for sure it cannot affect aging itself. Reversing the effect of aging is a whole different box. Her power is in erasing formulas, and I would describe aging itself as a build in formula that is scattered across the entire physical body formula.
In this case, she simply seeks out formulas that seem to have been added retroactively, like an illness one receives naturally. The aging of the body is a natural thing inscribed since birth, after all. I edited these things into the power for clarification.

Alright, just one more question then; how long does it take her to heal a condition?
Personally, I would recommend going based on time elapsed and severity; assuming she undoes alien changes to the person's formula, it would make sense for chronic or severe conditions taking longer than say, the sniffles or "just a flesh wound".

Added it to the upgrade. It makes sense to me that erasing cancer would be extremely hard. While getting rid of the flu shouldn't be too hard.
