(;・ω・) ))) Name: Ryouga, Sena Gender: Female Age: 18 Height: 170cm Weight: 42kg Appearance: bop Occupation: Hyakuji High Graduate, part-time magazine model, Kaneshima University freshman. Residency: Plato Building, Room 403 with Seth and Sophia. Personality: "Hands off, I can take care of myself," A highly independent individual almost to a fault, Sena had been living and taught herself not to rely on others for anything. Whether it be out of distrust for others or simple pride is questionable, but she tends to solving her own problems by herself. Not like she doesn't know of her own limitation, but for as long as she can physically finish a job, she wouldn't ask for help from anyone. The girl places high value on responsibility. Or rather, the capability to fulfil them. She believes that everyone has their own responsibility to fulfil, and whoever does not have it should not be given the responsibility. So much so, she has a tendency to take on other people's responsibility when she sees them unable or plain unwilling to take care of it. Whether or not she herself can fulfil them is another matter entirely. As can likely be surmised, Sena is a rather stubborn individual. Quite on the fiery side too at certain times, and can be very imposing on her ideals, even more so than her brother used to be. This, combined with her already independent nature, makes her a somewhat unapproachable person at first glance. Which also tends to make her a bit of a loner seeing as she is not one to start a conversation. History: For the longest of time, at least as Sena remembers it, her life had been mostly empty. Uneventful at most, she doesn't even remember much of her old preschool days. All she knew was she was born in a quite well-off family living in the middling-to-top of the high-rise community in Tokyo. A particularly fancy mansion, with a view overlooking half of the city itself. Perhaps because she was so small back then that her home seemed so big and empty. Or more likely, now that she realized it, it was because her parents were almost always never home. There was only one other person filling the gap in her life at the time. That was her brother. Of course, being siblings with no one else to be their maternal figure, her brother would often take charge. Not that he was in any way good at it so she often ends up having to fix his mistakes, but he at least never stopped trying. Naturally they were pretty close with each other. Never would Sena have thought her brother would just one day leave her for his own selfish reason, all because he found out he has powers and wanted to study elsewhere with his peers. So yeah, she got pretty sad. And angry, but mostly sad. Sena had no choice but to just carry on though, figuring she should start doing something, anything, to fill in her now-empty daily life. four years have since passed and she actually ended up getting by well enough by herself. Her parents were as scarce from home as they ever were, and she hadn't heard from her brother since he left. Regardless, in those four years she filled her life to the brim with goals, hard work and stellar achievements. She was the ace student in her school, both in academics and sports. She managed to make a fairly big name of herself as a teen model, and she stopped taking allowance from her parents when she could earn enough to make a living from, and then some. Everyone around her expected big things from her. In truth though, she really couldn't be bothered. After all, she's only doing everything to keep herself occupied. She has no bigger plans in life despite her many achievements, and she couldn't see where she would be in the future. The answer would come to her instead, or rather, it would crash into her life with the force of a disaster. The area where she lived in ended up becoming the battleground for a clash of power. The 'talented', 'gifted' ones fought each other to prove of their ideals, with no regards on what could have happened to all the others who had nothing to do with them. She and everyone else were caught in the crossfire, and there was nothing they could do save to sit, hide, wait and hope for it to pass. Pass it did, and it was honestly a miracle that there were no casualties. Nonetheless, the damage had been done. What Sena saw was a trail of wanton destruction left behind by privileged people who presumes themselves to be above others, forcing their ideals and decision onto those who has no power to stand up against them. She saw those who are strong could fight, they could bring the fate of many into their own hand... while those who are weak were unable to do anything. She was pretty angry. Also a bit sad, but for the most part she was goddamn furious. For the next few months before leaving junior high school, the girl made preparations. She tracked down the school where her brother went. She compiled every necessary files, certificates and documents just in case, packed her daily necessities, and the moment she her speech at her school's graduation day, she headed straight off. ...Admittedly it was a bit hard to leave behind the place she spent all her life in, but... oh well. It's not exactly going anywhere and she can always go back. The place she tracked down was a particularly famous place. Named Hyakuji High, it was a school that was made to accept and educate gifted, special and highly talented students. A lot, if not most of them, have powers, in the typical sense of being... superhuman. The first thing she did upon taking the first step past the school gate was challenging the school itself. That actually did not go as planned because as much as she had thought about and anticipated it, she was not at all prepared for actually meeting her brother in person. Needless to say it became a melancholic reunion instead. Which quickly turned into horror for the brother when she mentioned about enrolling into the school. For the next year or so, she ended up learning more about the world foreign to her than she had initially bargained for. Her opinion remained largely unchanged, but she's warmed up slightly to the people with powers, when she was reminded that they are still just like anyone else. Most of them anyway. She still believes those with power should realize that they hold great responsibility, especially when it involves others who do not have the same power to change the world. Even then though, she still dislikes the fact that she has to be forced to stay out of their way. She dislikes how weak she felt, how her words and actions would often end up amounting to nothing when compared to what the gifted ones could achieve. At the same time she rejects any idea that even suggests her gaining the same kind of strength. It was a contradictory thought. A dumb, idiotic and self-defeating policy to live by, and she's come to learn that she would never be able to change one of the most basic law of nature: the strong will always triumph over the weak. But she wanted to keep doing things her own way, with her own two hands. She's learned that she can't always rely on the privileged ones to take the responsibility, and she will probably, one day, need to take things into her own hand. She'll be satisfied just knowing she can do something. Anything, and not just end up being a useless bystander. Graduating from Hyakuji High was... not what she had always imagined a high school graduation would be. Hardly happy, solemn, or even bittersweet, it simply felt like another day of her life. She had no strong attachment to the school in the first place, having only enrolled there to follow her brother around. Considering herself as a loner by nature, she didn't quite make many friends either, with classmates and teachers being mere acquaintances with whom she gave only half-hearted or empty parting words to. She wondered if she had wasted off a particularly important chapter of her life that she would later come to regret. She wondered if she had ever really done anything important or substantial, even with how much she's achieved or done, as she kept being told by her classmates and teachers. The thoughts were squashed quite fast as she packed up everything she had and immediately took a final one-way train trip all the way to Kaneshima to live with her brother. And his girlfriend, she supposed. It's so she can cheap out on rent money, duh. Powers and Abilities: Sena is still a talented and very hardworking, mostly normal girl. Mostly. Equipment: Aluminum Baseball Bats: Sena seem to have a collection of pristine new aluminium baseball bats always handy on herself whenever she needs them. One of them is always the same bat she had used when she first joined a baseball club back in junior high. It has dents and scratches all over it, and the cloth wrapping on the handle had been replaced quite often. She doesn't carry very many of them all at once though, usually maybe around six to eight, somehow. Her skill with the bats are top notch, not only for batting baseballs but also when using them not for their intended purposes. A small and thick hardcover book: Used to take notes of little happenings in her everyday life, as well as a pain-inducing instrument. Pair of big, round, high-power glasses: Her notorious short-sightedness is something she had been cursing about since junior high. Altair F-13: It's a laptop, and it's been a while for an upgrade. In the meantime she's still mulling over getting the Rabenschwarz lines of laptop. |
