Profile - General Template V1.00 Name: Ms Kisaragi Gender: Female Age: '25' (She's been 25 for many years now; in reality she's over 40 years old) Height: 5 Feet 10 Weight: Oh, she really couldn't say... Appearance: Senki Academy's No.1 Vice-Principal! There she is on her scooter. Then again, seems to be the only choice... But hey, she's supportive of her students! Maybe a bit TOO supportive... The Lovely Warrior, Cutey Honey! Occupation: Vice Principal at Senki Academy Residency: Plato Building Personality: Many would take an initial glance at Ms Kisaragi, and determine that she is a mature, yet kindhearted soul. They would think her a woman who ultimately has nothing but the best intentions for the students in her care, seeking to give them the best education they can get, whilst also ensuring that they are prepared for what the world may throw at them. That... is technically not inaccurate, but its very much a surface read. Oh, yes, Ms Kisaragi does care. Whilst she prefers not to let incidents get in the way of existing plans - can't bring everything grinding to a halt after all - once she has the time, she is quick to set about checking upon the wellbeing of others, and assuring them that they have her support if they should need it. She hopes and trusts in the idea that her students can learn to handle things long enough, sometimes overestimating how much stress that those so young can put up with. If things do boil over, she is quick to realise where she's gone wrong, and will seek a much more immediate resolution - forcefully, if need be - even if it means throwing everything off the rails. But beyond that, Ms Kisaragi can be a bit... odd. Whilst trying to dress the part of a professional on most days, she is all too eager to go dressing up as something else if given the opportunity. A bit of a cosplay freak, you might say; perhaps even an exhibitionist, given how outright enthusiastic she can be to show off, even to her own students. Similarly, whilst she's all prim and proper when dressed up to be the Vice-Principal, she can be something of a slob in private circumstances, with pyjamas and a perfectly good bed left untouched in favour of crashing on the couch. She might clean up a little, both personally and in the space around her, for the sake of guests, but if she doesn't feel people are accepting of who she is, why would she even invite them around, is her reasoning. From that same reasoning, she can be a lot more playful when she doesn't have to command a classroom, teasing others even as she attempts to gain insight, perhaps doing one to enable the other. Rarely however does she truly aim to 'flirt', so much as try get a rise - often metaphorical, sometimes literal - out of people, seemingly for her own amusement, and an affirmation of the power she has in that regard. She means no harm by it, and will ultimately stop if people are truly put off by it - accepting how others are, just as they should accept her - but really, its all in good fun. And there's a limit to what's fun, and what's just plain creepy. Yet deeper still does the rabbit hole go. Her cosplaying tendencies and undignified behaviour are themselves the surface levels of a further facet of her character - mundane hints at her actual identity. For sometimes, she's an ordinary Vice-Principal. Sometimes, she's a stylish reporter. Sometimes, she's a racing queen. But the truth is, she's the lovely warrior, Cutey Honey! Within her 'true' form - more on that in a bit - Honey is the definition of a superheroine, courageous and strong willed. Whilst retaining some of her playful personality, it is now much more arrogant, used to taunt her opponents, and play up her own ability to handle the situation. She opposes the strong and wicked that would harm the weak and the innocent, and will gladly put her life on the line if need be. Indeed, it can be a somewhat worrying aspect in Honey's behaviour, with survival as something of an afterthought compared to giving it her all; worse still if she extends that to those who have decided to fight by her side, rather than remain among those that Honey must defend. Even then though, the life of another will come before Honey's own, for that is her role as the lovely warrior! History: In the midst of the seventies, the world was terrorised by a wicked force known as Panther Claw. Seeking to possess the rarest items of the world, they unintentionally seeded the beginnings of their destruction, when they sought to steal the matter assembly technology developed by one Doctor Kisaragi. Unfortunately for them, he had built the technology in the form of his 'daughter', Honey Kisaragi, and in killing the Doctor to try and get his work, they only gave reason for the super android to hunt them down. With her incredible powers, she first worked to remove the organisation's well sunken roots in Japan, and from there, the world. For many years, she was the starlight superheroine of the seventies (in Japan, anyway), but with her ultimate success against Panther Claw, the spotlight faded as other villains arose, and other heroes appeared to face them. Honey could and still did fight to protect the peace, but it was in smaller, more secretive ways, and the name 'Cutey Honey' was left to fall into obscurity. Eventually, she decided she would attempt to reforge a more 'normal' identity, one with which she could live in society, rather than be its bulwark against the bad guys. Starting over as 'Ms Kisaragi', she went through university, gaining qualifications as a teacher. Beginning a tenure at Kaimu Highschool right as an effort to reform its reputation was underway - sullied by a wayward Student Council President - her astonishing proficiency in a variety of subjects (being an android does rather have its perks), and her work ratio quickly garnered her attention, and various job offerings. One in particular had her vouched for by those who had come to know her secret, and was undoubtedly the most interesting of all - to take a position at the recently revealed Senki Academy. Deciding she'd give it a shot, Honey quite quickly received the call back, confirming her position, and the opportunity of a lifetime. Of course, Ms Kisaragi doesn't tend to share the greater details of where she came from, usually offering a truncated and simplified version of events, though technically still true. That she grew up a Catholic, and was educated on the outer edges of Tokyo, a doctor's daughter. Of how her faith was rare in affecting her life, whilst her education clearly did; having had teachers who were, well, rather poor at their jobs, she decided she would do one better. She set her sights on university, dedicating herself to gaining a degree, and then her teaching license. With both in hand, she was quick in moving to her first job, at a city and school by the name of Kaimu. Having done good work there, she leapt at the opportunity to help in the administration of Senki Academy, and make an impact on the world. Now, the two stories converge. Having endured her first year at Senki Academy, Ms. Kisaragi has ultimately found herself forced to reawaken her long slumbering, secondary persona. Her skills have not waned, but even she has found herself somewhat stymied by the nature of the threats she has faced. The world she must lead the children of her school into is one not merely of supervillains and organised crime, but of aliens, gods, and men with the power to manipulate time. It is also a world to which she is conflicted on whether to lead them to at all, and so she is stuck wondering as to the way forward. But it is a way she must find, whether as Honey Kisaragi, or as the lovely warrior, Cutey Honey! Powers and Abilities: Besides the astonishing speed with which she can slip into a costume, and the skill with which she can ride her scooter, there's really not much else about Ms Kisaragi. ...Well now that's just a blatant lie. Constructed by esteemed scientist Doctor Kisaragi, the 'super android' known as Cutey Honey possesses technology and capabilities that were well ahead of her time, and still holds up exceedingly well today. Possessing 'matter assembly' technology - what would be more commonly described as 'nanomachines' in the present - Honey is able to functionally shapeshift, altering her clothes, physical appearance, and even to some degree her capabilities, activated by pressing the heart choker on her neck. To break it all down: Super Android Body Honey, being an android - or perhaps gynoid for the sticklers - is a machine, albeit an incredibly complex one, with much of the innovation that went into her design only being caught up to today. She weighs no more than a 'real' woman of her size, her flesh is soft, and she can even eat, sleep, and go to the toilet; of those, only eating is necessary, as a means of consuming fuel - albeit much more efficiently than a human does - but her body is allowed to think they're necessary, and thus, give her the behaviour of a normal person. However, she does not age naturally, and nor is she affected by illness; thus so long as she maintains enough power, and the parts inside her core frame do not fail, she could theoretically live forever. Matter Assembly As mentioned, Honey is able to shapeshift, rearranging the matter of her body and anything produced by it - namely, clothes, of which she has produced many a spare stockpile over the decades - into a new shape. She can go from mild mannered school teacher to hot racing queen, from rock diva to old nanny, and even better, have her mind and body be rewired so she can convincingly play the part. Pretty useful for when she wants to show off, get into places unseen, or needs a certain set of skills, but there are limits to how far she can push it, and she can't simply have all the benefits at once. To begin with, Matter Assembly isn't an easy process by any means, and even whilst it reassembles matter, rather than truly destroy it, that still has an additional cost in terms of energy, as a process. And well, Honey doesn't have an unlimited supply to work with, and her body will eventually stop being willing provide the energy that it needs for the process, lest she shut herself down in doing so. When she was younger, this was no issue, but with the mechanisms that power her being over forty years old now, she can only manage five transformations in quick succession (read: in a single thread). Worst still, in order to ensure she has enough power to survive, her body is programmed to consume 'unnecessary material' that could be used to help with that. Which means, well, if she's wearing clothes that she's produced from said Matter Assembly (which is almost inevitable given how she would reach such a point) very soon she is not going to be wearing them, or much of anything really. Naturally, being able to rebuild one's body to some extent can be useful when suffering injury, but in Honey's case, it just gives her an inevitable restoration to normal, rather than any kind of acceleration when compared to an ordinary human being; worse still, having to heal whilst low on power is not at all a good combination - her body simply wouldn't have enough for both tasks. As to gaining skills from transformations, with two noted exceptions, it can be generally summarised that Honey's transformation have to fit certain archetypes, or 'careers' perhaps. Moreover, these skills must be within the realm of human possibility, things that a person can do largely so long as they have the know-how, and maybe a bit of the muscle mass. Thus, if Honey becomes a nurse, then yes, she knows about nursing and how to administer healthcare (or abuse it). If she becomes a jet pilot, she knows how to fly and can handle the strains of a highspeed aircraft. But she cannot make herself into a 'pyromancer' and gain the ability to throw fire from her hands, or 'Supergirl' and gain all their fantastical abilities; she'd just be left with some showy costumes and little else going for her. Moreover, she cannot combine the skills gained and demonstrated by her transformations. So with the aforementioned examples, in transforming into a nurse, Honey wouldn't be able to fly a kite, let alone a jet, and in becoming a pilot, she would lose any and all qualifications to go sticking needles into people, nevermind treating them for serious injury. So what then are the two exceptions? Well, the first is just 'Ms Kisaragi', which for all intents and purposes is her base, ordinary self, so long has it been in use. Subsequently, it has also lasted long enough for the skills she has gained over her ordinary life - driving, how to teach, cooking - to have been able to imprint on her and not be lost whenever she goes transforming into someone else. Yes, Honey as a racing driver is much better at tearing up the track and pulling insane stunts, but other forms can at least work their way through traffic because 'Ms Kisaragi' has been doing that for over a decade now. The other exception? Why, she's... The Lovely Warrior, Cutey Honey! Honey's dedicated offensive form, and the only one to possess any kind of real powers. Her super android body releases its performance limiters, giving Honey "seven times her ordinary strength"! Whilst not a precise multiplier in all areas, it does reflect the notion of Cutey Honey, the warrior, being a generally physical combatant. Able to toss cars with one hand, and stop them with the other, Cutey Honey is a woman of incredible strength. Her body, whilst still soft to the touch, is noticeably firmer, built to take a beating but continue on, with pools of stamina that so that she can continue to stand, even after she's been smacked through a pillar. Her senses of pain are dulled, but not removed, and all 'ordinary' demands of her body - eating, sleeping, going to the bathroom, so forth - are disengaged, allowing her to focus as much on the fight as is possible. Though not lightning fast, she's at least as quick as any olympic athlete, and her reflexes are enough that whilst she cannot catch a bullet, but she might deflect it with her sword, or get out of the way before the trigger is pulled. But if she fails to deflect or dodge it, her body won't stop that bullet. Neither will her clothing, for that matter, which honestly is no more that the unitard that it appears to be. Her skin still tears with the strike of a blade, and well, she's hardly fire retardant. In general, the ways in which you can harm the human body are still capable of harming Honey, with maybe a bit more resistance, making the ultimate flaw in her design the very ambition of her father - to make a machine that could truly be human. Equipment: All sorts of teacher stuff. Dozens upon dozens of costumes. Her trusty little scooter. Silver Fleurette: A simple but sharp blade that appears when she transforms into the Lovely Warrior, Cutey Honey, as something with which to defend herself. Its most remarkable trait is sheer durability, as despite Honey's style of fighting, and the strength with which she wields her blade - increasing its cutting strength - it generally endures. Probably helps that it is, effectively, freshly forged each time. Honey Boomerang: Typically hidden as her armband on transforming into the Lovely Warrior, Cutey Honey, the Honey Boomerang is what it sounds like - a boomerang. In particular, its a boomerang with razor sharp edges, allowing her to toss it out, cut a target, and return to her hand in good measure, catching it by the heart in the centre.
