Name: ISA (EVA unit #154) Gender: None, albeit in a gynoid body Race: Android Age: 0 Height: 167 cm Weight: 119 kg Appearance: ![]() Occupation: none Year: - Class: - Club: - Residency: - Personality: "Data not found." Isa has a very limited personality at the moment. How the AI will develop will depend on its interactions with the world. History: During year 201X, an event of large importance struck Hyakuji. An ancient being of untold power was summoned into this world to destroy everything. During the final confrontation against the creature a large number of mass produced Eva units were deployed on the field, and many were damaged, deactivated and destroyed when the aircraft carrier carrying them was sunk. After those events, a salvage operation by the military forces followed and as a result the now destroyed units were destined to a military scrapyard for smelting. Among those, a severely damaged model on its way to a trash compactor and subsequent smelting is about to reboot into emergency mode. Powers and Abilities: Titanium Alloy Body and Chassis: Being made as a piece of military hardware, Isa’s body is made out of highly resilient titanium. As such she is immune to most conventional light weapons and water, but remains vulnerable to magic, heavy weaponry, and electricity based attacks. Obviously that doesn't mean that 100% of the gynoid's body is made of titanium. While titanium is among the lightest metals it isn't exactly feather light. It would be an inefficient use of material if all the parts were solid metal. This is a fact that manufacturers practice all the time: amount of material versus strength/ flexibility/ brittleness/final weight. A metallic foam that is clad with very resilient metal covering, and a lot of internal space is obviously empty: actuators are smaller than muscles after all, with circuits and many other components not made of titanium. Redundant Array of Independant Memory System (RAIMS): Isa's self repair, diven by the few survival directives that weren't damaged in her main processor unit drove the android toward extensive modification and inclusion of many backup CPUs and storage memory and backup sensors in different parts of the body frame. Each memory area is constantly sinced so that in case of a CPU failure (For example the head is destroyed), Isa maintains operativity as a backup CPU activates. Sight and sound are received through basic micro cameras that will allow functionality. Isa possesses a RAIMS in each limb, in the chest and the head, this one containing the usually main CPU. Modular body system Each limb of Isa is modular and detachable. Each part, thanks to the Redundant CPU embedded in it acting as a client, can be controlled wirelessly to still be able to move under the main active CPU control when detached. Each part is removable and can act independently in the limits of what the limb can do by itself. Like with any wireless transmission, control over detached limbs can be hindered by any tipe of radio scrambler that disrupts communication. Attached parts are obviously immune to this type of attack as they receive commands directly. Advanced Combat Training: Background integrity routines managed to restore Isa's combat protocols. Isa is now highly proficient in hand to hand combat, daggers and most firearms. Faraday Shielding System: Using the principle of the Faraday Cage, Isa managed to isolate all her internal components to block external electromagnetic fields, making her very resistant to radio frequency interferences and sudden electricity discharges. In simple terms she can withstand a lightning shock or an emp grenade without any problem, but she can't resist to prolonged and stable electromagnetic waves. Quick facts about Faraday Cages: Equipment: None List of Upgrades

2018 Yearly Upgrade Faraday Shielding System Using the principle of the Faraday Cage, Isa managed to isolate all her internal components to block external electromagnetic fields, making her very resistant to radio frequency interferences and sudden electricity discharges. In simple terms she can withstand a lightning shock or an emp grenade without any problem, but she can't resist to prolonged and stable electromagnetic waves. Quick facts about Faraday Cages: A common misconception with a Faraday cage is that it blocks all electricity or any radio signal, but this is not true: it heavily attenuates their effects. It dissipates electric currents generated from external or internal electromagnetic fields, and thus they block a large amount of the electromagnetic interference. Faraday cages cannot block stable or slowly varying magnetic fields: a simple example is Earth's magnetic field (a compass still work inside). They can shield EMP waves from natural phenomena very effectively, but a tracking device, especially in upper frequencies, may be able to penetrate the cage (e.g., some cell phones operate at various radio frequencies so while one cell phone may not work, another one will). I also request the mods to make her hidden and unactivated powers from character creation to be activated and made visible. |

Upgrade approved, feel free to reflect the change in your main profile. Also, you just need to edit your main profile to take out the "staff" tags and those sections will become publicly viewable. |

Profile updated accordingly. Law, I had some troubles editing as I couldn't see the "staff" tags and their contents inside the text. I asked Sophia to retrieve it for me and dodged the issue. It may be some configuration error or some limitation of the BBcode. |
