"Wow, so this is the kind of dojo the school has. Nothing like the base at all." Taichi stared admiringly at the traditionally styled dojo. Having trained for years on mats in an airplane hangar, it was a very welcome change of pace. Not that he hated the hangar, but it could get awfully cold in there. He had only just arrived at the school and announced his arrival at reception. Apparently there was still some paperwork being done before he got assigned a dormitory, but Taichi didn't mind. That just meant he had a little bit of time to explore. He had to laugh at himself, it must have had more iron in his body than he thought, because it was like the gymnasium was a magnet pulling him here. He had though to go make his way towards the Track Field, but through better of it. It was easy to spot and he could go see it later. Taichi had decided to take a few more turns within the school to explore the scenery when he stumbled upon the gymnasium. He didn't bother to hide his smile, he knew that he would be spending quite a portion of his time here. He had to stop himself from stepping in at first, almost forgetting to remove his shoes. He left that and his carry on luggage at the door. He had been told he could leave his main luggage at the schools reception, for which he was very gracious. He didn't mind carrying it around with him, but it would have been a bit of a both. He began looking around the gym, his fingers interlacing behind his head as he looked around. |

Noah walked the halls of the school with his hands in his pockets with a look of wonder as he examined the area around him. It was about a day ago that he got to the newly opened school, but found himself to still be questioning his foster parents choice about sending him here. He wasn't beating the ever loving hell out of everyone that pissed him off so there really wasn't much of a reason for him to be sent here. Too late now, they weren't gonna change thier minds. But it wasn't all bad. People here are much more interesting then most people back in America and it wasn't as boring. But maybe boring is sometimes the best for everyone. After finding a good room, Noah decided to tour the school to see how different it was from normal ones. So far the structure was way more the he imagined. Not to mention the dorms were beautifully designed like most of the school. After a few minutes of walking aimlessly, he found himself in the gym of the school which once again blew him away design wise and with the equipment it had. Taking a deeper look, he found himself in a dojo which made sense since they were in Japan. Maybe someone can teach him to be a better fighting. All he knew was street brawling. Entering the Dojo, he took off his shoes and saw the figure of another male student and gave them a warm smile with a wave. |

"Yo newbie!" There was a girl sitting down on the Dojo's tatami mat floor near a very western styled boxing bag that had been hung from a big metal ring that was craftily hidden in the old fashioned stylings of the dojo, both form and function seemed to be going on in this building, well it ought to of course, that mats on the ground still had that faint bamboo smell that came from them being good as new, pretty much like all the school's facilities could be expected to be. She seemed to be taking a break from some kind of exercise program she had been running on the sand bag and having a drink from a water bottle at the moment. Despite having long blond hair tied back in a long braid it was pretty obvious from her facial features that it was probably dyed because she looked far to genericly Asian to have enough foreigner in her to have that kind of blond hair. And by generic Asian I meant she probably had some Chinese and even Korean in her because it was hard to press her down into any single ethnic demographic. Her eyes focused in on Taichi from behind a pair of black rimmed glasses that might have given her a bit of a geeky look if one weren't looking at her in training shorts and a t-shirt that showed of her rather muscular arms and lower legs, particularly for a girl. A good demonstration of the power of those legs was given when she hopped to her feet from a crouched position with barely any effort at all. She clapped her hands together a few times like she was dusting them of before giving the new arrival a big grin but a moment later she touched her lips and her face clouded over, it was like watching a slow motion video of someone coming to an idea, you could almost see the light going on up above her head but with that start-up time she must have a tl-tube with a broken starter for brains. "No wait... I guess I'm a newbie too huh... Well uhh, yo! again! Uhh... I don't know your name right? No of course not we just met, sorry. Uhh. Hi, for the third time! I'm akiha. I like this dojo. You here just sightseeing or you wanted a go at the bag too?" Either she was the biggest scatter brain of all time, or she just actually greeted him 3 times, only to realize he had not introduced himself yet and still seemed to try to hide she didn't know his name.. Well that was certainly something... because that's pretty much exactly what just happened... Edited by Cutie Honey, Jan 12 2016, 06:05 AM.

"WHOOZZAT!?" Taichi jumped back, staring around wildly due to the shock from the sudden loud voice that made itself heard. As he was trying to identify the source, he noticed the girl near the punching bag and began to relax. He watched as she unfolded herself from the crouch she had been resting in, having been sipping water only moments ago. Whoever she was, she must have been an athlete of some kind, given her build. Her muscles were toned and definitely could be put through their paces if Taichi was any judge, without detracting from her femininity by being bulky. Taichi's own body had defined muscle and while he never trained specifically to gain bulk, some of it had crept its way in naturally, but that was just probably male genetics. Taichi rolled his shoulders and let out a very quick and quiet sigh, "Apologies for that, I didn't see anyone else in here." Taichi adjusted his red t-shirt and denim shorts. He was about to greet her when he looked at her face, seemingly in the grips of some kind of thought process or analysis. "W-What? Oh right! Its nice to meet you Akiha-san." replied Taichi, extending a hand in greeting. Now that he was able to look at her properly and beyond her glasses, Taichi began to take in her features and smiled warmly, "My name is Taichi. Honestly I was just exploring the school, trying to see where everything was and I just ended up here." Taichi did consider Akiha's offer of having a go at the punching bag, having briefly looked over her head. Which to be honest wasn't all that difficult given their height difference, so it had merely been his eyes flickering towards the aforementioned back before coming back to settle on Akiha. He gave her a friendly grin and a small chuckle, "I'm surprised, I didn't expect to meet someone who looked so similar to me as soon as I got here." He paused briefly, before leaning down slightly so that he was face to face with Akiha, "We've got the same hair and eyes after all." He stood up again, letting his thumbs hook into his shorts' pockets, "You said you were newbie too, right? How new is new then?" |

"Taichi is it? Like the martial art huh, no wonder you'd head straight for the dojo." She put her water bottle down on the tatami covered floor before taking a step forwards and shaking his hand with a firm if a bit sweaty grip, well from the looks of her she had been working out for quite a while so that was hard to avoid wasn't it? She looked him over after his introduction and gave a small smile as he touched on the similarities between their appearances. "Well, we'd stand out in the rest of Japan maybe, but considering this school is shaping up to literally be weirdo central were probably some of the most mundane looking students here. Besides, this? came from a bottle of bleach." She ran her hand through her hair as if to exactly define exactly what she meant by 'this'. she chuckled lightly as she moved next to the sandbag and gave it a loving pat on the side that send a dry thumping noise echoing through the Dojo. When he questioned her about the definition of new, at the very least this time she seemed to get the intention of his question because her answer seemed surprisingly normal and to the point considering the first impression of her mental faculties. "Well, I went to the local High School here before this place opened up. My parents thought a change of scenery might be good for me so they send me here instead. So not that new to the town, as for the school, I moved into the dormitories a few days ago. Been exploring the campus every since. I like watching new people arrive you know. Making use of the fancy new equipment they have before the new smell wears of and all." She moved behind the bag and put both hands on the sides of it to stop it from swinging after the earlier love tap she gave it, before looking out from behind it with a cheeky sort of grin plastered over her face. "Denim shorts aren't really the norm for this sort of thing, but shorts and a T-shirt are close enough to count. So Tenchi, show me what you got!" And there her bad habit went again, if she ever remembered someone's name for more then 30 seconds it might be a genuine miracle. At least she got the general gist of it though? right... Kind of? Taichi blushed a bit, rubbing the back of his neck out of nervous habit, "Well sought of like the martial art. I'm a practitioner of, well I guess the main form the art comes from Muay Thai, but I'm no master." He had to laugh about the two of them looking mundane here at Senki. Taichi honestly had no one to compare himself to yet, so he had no idea exactly how different Akiha meant other people would be. He'd surely find out though. Taichi stared at her as she ran her hands through her hair. He blushed slightly at the simple thought, 'It still looks good on her though.' swam through his mind. What he blurted out was, "Its a style that suits you though." This reassurance at least allowed him to recover somewhat from the brief blush. Getting it out of his head stopped him from thinking about it further. He listened to her story, grinning at how she had been right nearby and ready for the new school to open up. It was a very good coincidence she had powers and then Senki was so close to home. "It must be nice, you're still relatively close to your family then I take it? I had to travel here from a ways off. My dad's work had us moving around a lot, but I guess a lot of his work colleagues kind of became extended family, so it wasn't all bad. I got sent here after I was examined for my powers. I was nervous at first, but now I'm looking forward to it." Taichi blinked in surprise when Akiha proposed punching the bag. He was momentarily concerned. Should he punch it with or without his powers? "Well I've been traveling and haven't had time to change into gym clothes," he admitted as he watched her behind the back, "I wasn't intending on using the equipment, but if you insist and if we don't get in trouble I'll give it a go." He moved up to the back, widening his stance and extending his arm slowly at first to measure the appropriate distance. Best not to use his power for now, he didn't want to break or damage anything in the dojo. Before he started, he looked at the girl behind the bag, "It's Taichi, not Tenchi. You can call me Tai if you want?" Maybe it was because they just met, he couldn't fault her on that. Or...was the bleached hair affecting her somehow? Taichi banished these thoughts and raised his hands, throwing some initial experimental jabs at the bag, before really letting loose with a flurry of punches. Akiha would feel the impact from the punches pulsing through the bag, getting harder and stronger. It was clear he knew how to punch, using his hip's rotation to increase the force of the punch. He wasn't windmilling like some bar-room brawler, but using his bodies rotated position to cock the follow up punch's hip rotation, before letting the punch fire out. 'Don't punch the bag, punch through it. Don't lean into it, let the impact go through the bag for maximum damage.' It was a mental matra Taichi used when practicing, a sign showing that while he was capable of holding his own, he was still a novice in some forms. He finished off with final punch that, if he had hit a person in the stomach, would have caused them to throw up seconds afterwards. Taichi breathed out heavily for a moment, before looking around the bag, "Um, how was that?" he asked, somewhat uncertain of himself and wondering what Akiha was thinking. |

"Not bad! You got some good things going in your form and your not hesitating to commit to your punch at all, I'd say muscle wise you've got more power going then I do. " The fact she said 'muscle wise' should not have escaped him, every time she pushed the bag slightly into his punch to absorb the force of his blow the bag barely trembled, more like it was in a vice grip then being held by someone weaker then him. She smiled encouragingly though as she gave him a jovial thumbs up after he finished throwing his last punch and she stepped away from the bag. She then proceeded to look him over once more with a more scrutinizing look, as if she was trying to asses something about him. " Muay Thai is it? Hmmm I've never actually seen that before outside of that one manga... As I recall your most powerful strikes use knees and elbows right? Maybe we can spar a bit later if your up for it!" She seemed rather excited by the prospect as she grabbed the hemline of her T-shirt and pulled it over her head exposing her midriff and her extremely well defined abs, all she was wearing underneath it was a black sports bra, that showed of a body that was extremely fit without completely ruining her femininity in the process. Well if you were into that sort of thing at least. Outside of showing off though was there a reason she was suddenly taking of her shirt. She patted the side of the bag one more time and grinned as she threw her shirt toward Taichi. "Here hold this for a second. I'll show you something good before we continue. See, this school is build with people in mind that are a bit... more athletic shall we say? then the norm. See that metal ring the bag is hanging from, yeah that holds way more then a normal one, the bag too is pretty good, I haven't managed to rip one yet, even if i do this." She took a deep breath and closes her fists, every single muscle on her body swelled up a few centimeters in size as an explosive surge of some kind of energy shot through her that he could feel more then actually see as the sudden upsurge in energy pressed aside the air around her and caused a sudden breeze of air to shoot through the dojo emanating from the blond haired girl. "Ahh.. You might want to step back a little, Tai." She stepped forward and thrust her hand out towards the bag with considerable speed and force behind her palm as she struck it in a single fluid motion that transferred all the energy from her step in through her hips up through her shoulders and into the tip of her palm more like she was levying the entire movement into the strike rather then using a more traditional punching method like his. When her palm struck the bag it literally jumped back from the impact leaving the chain it hung from slack as it was struck with enough force to slam flat up into the ceiling rather then swing into it then it fell back down and gravity pulled the heavy bag tight on it's chain as it swung back down and towards both of them, Akiha had stepped aside after finishing her strike but she had not exactly given him a lot of time between her warning to step back and actually hitting the thing. Taichi smiled and nodded happily, "I'm glad you think so. My form has been a constant worry for me, but I suppose it's partly because I was always comparing myself to the experienced fighter's my father let me train with." said Taichi smiling, sliding his thumb over his forehead to wipe away a small bead of sweat that was sliding down from his hair. Akiha's comment didn't go unnoticed. Taichi had been wondering about what she would say and inside he had a feeling things were about to get more interesting. He had been holding back from using his powers, but he had a feeling and also a hope that Akiha would demonstrate some of hers. If that was the case, he'd be more than willing to demonstrate to her as well. "Which manga? Kenichi?" he asked, wondering if he had gotten it right, "But yes that is correct, it employs a lot of knee and elbow strikes for close quarters combat. Its sometimes called 'The Art of Eight Limbs' because of this. If you're feeling up to a light spar, then yeah maybe we can!" Taichi neglected to mention all the amount of attacks utilizing the legs, more specifically the shins, but purely because he started to blush as he watched as Akiha started taking her shirt off. He stood there speechless for a moment, before breathing a sigh of relief at the site of the black sports bra. She was beautifully defined, the exercises she must do certainly paid off. Currently Taichi had become a mute and as such caught her shirt without a word as it was thrown to towards him. He blushed again briefly, as he unintentionally caught a brief whiff of Akiha's scent from the shirt as he caught it, but brought it quickly down to his side and started paying attention to what the girl was doing. He listened to watch Akiha said, duely noting that the equipment was made to be sturdier than conventional sturdy and indeed felt the surge of power. He felt his skin tingle slightly as he managed to take a single step backwards before Akiha let her fist fly and hit the back with and impeccable force that sent it sky, or rather, ceiling-wards. Taichi's eyes were fixed on the bag, watching it go up and then subsequently watching it come back down. He was about to tell Akiha to move, not having noticed she had already done so due to his eyes being fixed on the bag. Taichi then realized it was coming down and now straight towards him. His reaction was commendable however, as he stepped into the bag's swing and managed to wrap his arms around it, sliding backwards slightly as he caught it to prevent the bag from swinging madly about. Slowly he released the bag, checking to make sure it was more or less still. He turned to face the girl, his one hand still holding Akiha's shirt. "That was incredible! You were using more than just 'muscle' power for that I'm gathering?" he said with a wry grin. Taichi extended the arm that was holding the shirt, giving it back to Akiha to hold. His face was all admiration, to the point that it was almost adorable because the only thing someone could compare it to was a little kid meeting their hero or idol. "Please tell me? If you do, I can show you what I can 'really' do to this bag." he said, grinning like an adorable and excited child or rather, almost like a puppy wanting to show how loudly it could bark. |

A clap would come from the entrance of the dojo after the punch Akiha delivered. If either of the students bothered to look, they would see a tall blonde boy standing there, a wide grin on his face. More noteworthy than that, however, was the sheer amount of scars on him. Even with a shirt on, it would be easy to see the missing eye and its associated burn, as well as the long clawmarks on his cheek. "Well done there lass!" he would say in a jovial tone as he stepped into the dojo. His Irish accent was what one could call noticeable, though he was otherwise speaking surprisingly fluent Japanese. "Always nice to meet some fellow enthusiasts of proper fightin'. Though I would've given just a wee bit more warnin' beforehand." Then, he stuck out a hand in greeting, his smile broadening. "Mathew Hazeman. Pleased to meet the both of ye." |

Noah was clapping as well, but his claps were more cheerful then what Mathew were giving to the fighters. While they were practicing on the bag, Noah was walking while sitting on the floor next to the door of the Dojo. He was getting a good show from watching them while getting some pointers as well from hearing them. He use to throw punches a lot, but not like what they were doing. Noah would get up from the floor and give a small bow as he held out small note that said his name on it. |

"Hoh, you didn't look like the type to read manga, but yeah that's the one!" She seemed rather pleased that he had gotten her reference and carefully watched as he well... in a word, bearhugged the bag into submission. Considering that she had used considerably more force then most normally humans would be able to handle to send it flying in the first place. She gave him a quick thumbs up as he seemed to be rather impressed by her preformance but at his final question she just shook her head. "No, that really was just the power of my muscles. I am just a normal human and wasn't born with any special abillities whatsoever. Every living thing has Ki, I can use mine to reinforce my body so that when I use my muscles to 100% of their capacity I don't end up tearing my own arm of. But that is all, my Ki is just used to remove the mental limit that keeps your muscles from tearing themselves apart when you use all of your power. My strength is all natural!" She took a deep breath as she let the energy flowing through her ebb away casuing her muscles to return to their normal size before stretching out her shoulders a little. As the other people hanging around the dojo made their presence known she turned towards the one that actually seemed able to use his mouth to announce his name with a troubled look on her face as she scratched the side of her head. "Ma...Mashu Aceman? That is a weird name. A foreigner? No.." She stepped towards him and stared at him closely while rubbing her chin, infact she may have ctually gotten uncomfortably close as she stared at his face before pointing at his eye patch. "Are you... A pirate?" Edited by Cutie Honey, Jan 19 2016, 12:21 AM.

"Really? I don't?" he asked. People never seemed to be able to peg him right. Maybe it was because of his power having some kind of subtle effect on him... Taichi listened carefully to Akiha's explanation of ki. He had heard about it before, but it was still something a bit foreign to him. Although given her description of it, he wondered if his Flow acted in a similar manner when it mimicked his father's powers. He knew how his power worked, but he just didn't know the source or the mechanism that made it work. Taichi jumped around in surprise at the sudden clapping coming from the door behind him. He hadn't even seen or heard anyone else in the dojo until that point. He looked at the two new boys that were in the dojo. 'Why do they both have scars?' It was the first though that entered Taichi's mind, but thankfully that's where it stayed. The one said nothing and the other one was clearly foreign, his accent carrying through as he spoke Japanese. As Akiha walked towards Mathew, Taichi responded, "Well to be fair she kind of did. Still it is nice to meet you, I'm Taichi Moto." He then looked towards Noah. The boy looked like the youngest one here, "And may I ask your name?" Edited by Nickle, Jan 19 2016, 02:58 AM.

Matt would chuckle some as the two other students spoke, without devoting any attention to Noah. He didn't seem to mind the mangling of his name, or the fact that Akiha was getting rather close to him. Indeed, he seemed more amused than anything else. He would take no actions to stop the girl from closing in, and even broke out into full laughter when she asked if he was a pirate. "Oh, yer just delightful!" he would say after his laughter abated. "Nah, I'm not a pirate. Just Irish is all. And ye can just call me Matt, lass." "And a pleasure to meet ye as well, Taichi!" Matt would say as he turned his attention to the other boy, a wide smile on his face. "So, onto the matter at hand. Both of ye likin' the school so far?" |

Noah would begin to dig through his bag and would find both his notebook and a pen in only a matter of seconds. Taking them both out, he opened up to a new page and begun to write at surprising speeds before actually showing the paper to the teen who asked him is name. Hello. I'm Noah Jackson. I just got to this school not to long ago and I'm still getting use to the setting. But enough about me. You guy look really strong and good fighters! Any of you trained? The note should give them the idea that he can't talk and why wouldn't it? It's not like there are people in the world who were too lazy to talk. But in any case, he held the note out with a wide smile on his face to indicate his friendliness to them. |
