| Mini Profile | Elise Rogner is a student at the Shinomiya Girls' High School as well as a Junior Bracer of the Bracer Guild. Originally from Tokyo, Elise moved to Hyakuji where she spent some time completing various requests as a Bracer before transferring to Kaneshima where she continues to serve as a Bracer.
Despite her appearance, Elise has very tomboy-ish hobbies such as cars and motorcycles, and Elise even owns her own motorcycle which she can be often found touring. However, the most important part about Elise is that she likes girls and makes no attempt to hide it. Less important, Elise can also use magic. |

| Personality |
|---|
Elise Rogner has a personality that contrasts almost completely with her appearance. She has a personality that would easily be more associated with tomboys, especially when it comes to her hobbies and interests, although she does also have feminine aspects of her personality. To be more accurate, it would be more correct to say that her interests and hobbies were more masculine whereas her character is actually more feminine. Well, to some degree, at any rate. There are aspects of her personality that are far more masculine.
To begin with, Elise Rogner is very lazy when it comes to school work, and when she was attending a high school in Tokyo, she was well known for skipping classes despite having quite good grades. While Elise is known as a delinquent, she is more of the care free type delinquent rather than the aggressive type. She tends to have very little care in the world, and lives life very freely. Perhaps too freely, even. It would be hard to imagine Elise struggling, or worrying over a situation. Instead, Elise takes everything in life in her stride with little trouble whatsoever. Although she has a habit of teasing others, and joking a lot, she is actually very friendly, and easy to get along with, and the type of person most people would have no trouble whatsoever getting along with. There are some more serious people who might find Elise's easygoing attitude irritating, or shocking, however it would be hard to genuinely dislike her. Despite her carefree attitude, Elise is able to fill the role of an older student when required to, and can even act as an older sister figure at times to younger students.
As previously mentioned, Elise Rogner's interests and hobbies contrast almost completely with her appearance. Elise enjoys reading about cars and motorcycles, and even owns her own motorcycle after repeatedly entering competitions in motorcycle magazines. While that actually sounds lucky, if anyone were to come to Elise's room and see the stacks of motorcycle magazines she has, it is actually surprising she only has won one. The stack of magazines are, of course, kept underneath her bed. It isn't to hide the fact she likes cars and motorcycles, but simply just to keep her room tidy. She has more in the closet. She also has a few of the latest issues laying on the desk of her room, which is probably a good indication that she isn't at all trying to hide the fact that she likes cars and motorcycles. Elise's favourite car manufacturer is Subaru, and if anyone knows anything about Subaru cars, then that should be a good hint to another of Elise's interests. As well as motorcycles and cars, Elise enjoys gambling. While it is difficult to gamble in Japan thanks to the laws barring most forms of gambling, and her age preventing her from participating in legal gambling such as horse racing and motor races. While she is old enough for Pachinko, that is about the only form of gambling she has no interest in, which is probably fortunate considering how much money Pachinko eats up. While it is difficult for Elise to gamble on things she enjoys gambling on, she does have her ways such as betting on horse races with other students, and similar things with her friends and classmates. To continue on from her interests, if it isn't obvious by now, of the most masculine of Elise Rogner's character traits is the fact that she has a tendency to flirt with girls. Elise also has the horrible habit of abusing the fact that she is a girl herself to get away with things that males wouldn't be able to get away with. While some might enjoy the attention, others tend to find it embarrassing, although that doesn't stop Elise in the slightest. While Elise does flirt with most girls, she doesn't appear to be interested in a dedicated relationship. Instead, Elise dreams of having a harem, which should be a good indication of where her loyalty stands. Elise is probably most infamous for inviting girls to go touring with her on her motorcycle, although that is just one of the many things Elise does. While Elise does use touring as a way to impress other girls, she also genuinely enjoys touring on her motorcycle, and regularly goes touring by herself. After having moved from Tokyo, the busy city, into Hyakuji City, the countryside, Elise is properly able to enjoy touring without having to push through the heavy traffic that can be found in Tokyo. Kaneshima Port is actually one of Elise's favourite touring spots thanks to the lack of traffic on that road. Elise Rogner has also recently taken an interest in various card games.
Finally, going into the more detailed aspects of Elise Rogner's personality. Food wise, Elise is more or less able to eat most things, ranging from Japanese to eastern, and from eastern to western foods. Elise does have a tendency to prefer sweet foods such as desserts however. As far as seasons go, Elise Rogner is actually quite content in any season. She isn't weak to the heat, and she isn't weak to the cold, which probably fits in quite well with her care free personality. The fact that she regularly goes touring regardless of the weather has probably contributed to Elise's tolerance of the weather. Even in the height of summer and winter, Elise will regularly go touring. Typhoons, rain, snow, and heat waves. None seem to really have much of an effect on Elise. |

Elise Rogner, officially registered in official records as Eri Watanabe is the adopted daughter of Daisuke Watanabe and Asami Watanabe. Elise Rogner is her real name, and she still uses her real name for everything but official documents. Since the unfortunate death of her adoptive parents, which occurred a few years ago in a car crash, Elise Rogner has been living alone in Tokyo attending a normal high school trying to make do with what little money she has. While she has always been aware of her powers, Elise Rogner has only recently discover Hyakuji High, a high school that is catered towards students with special abilities.
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, there hasn't been any major incidents in Elise Rogner's life. The combination of her care free attitude, and rather normal life experience has perhaps helped form the easygoing person she is today.
Life in Tokyo Elise Rogner, officially registered under the name Eri Watanabe in official records, used to live in Tokyo with her adoptive parents Daisuke Watanabe and Asami Watanabe until they died in an unfortunate traffic accident a few years ago. Since that incident, she has been living alone, and attending a regular High School in Tokyo. She has had adapt to living off almost no income, although has managed remarkably well, although she has had to take part time work to cover her expenses. Her attendance at school is also not particularly good, although that actually has very little to do with Elise Rogner's circumstances, and more to do with Elise Rogner being lazy. While Elise Rogner is registered in official documents as Eri Watanabe, the name given to her by her adoptive parents, Elise prefers her real name, Elise Rogner, and only uses her Japanese name on official documents. Elise Rogner seems to know nothing about her own parents, and while it is clear Elise Rogner is not of Japanese heritage, it is not clear where exactly Elise Rogner is from. Back in her high school at Tokyo, Elise had became well known for skipping classes, and even had her own little harem after becoming quite popular with the girls of the high school. Elise was also well known amongst the school's gambling community, who bet amongst themselves on horse races and motorcycle races since they cannot legally bet on them. It was also at this high school where Elise Rogner first started to take an interest in card games, and had somewhat of a reputation for being quite strong at them. Most of her part time jobs involved convenience stores, and serving at the tills, however she also did take some garage jobs when she could, and thanks to her knowledge of vehicles, she has been accepted when garages require an extra hand. As for Elise Rogner's magic, it is something that she has always been aware of, and she has no real memories of finding out about it. It is just something she has always had, and lived with. While Elise Rogner likes to think she is quite adept at using her magic, the truth of it is she is still very unskilled, and has a habit of failing very often. The magic is most liked something Elise Rogner has inherited from her birth parents, although since she knows nothing about them, she is not entirely sure of the origin of her magic.
Moving to Hyakuji As mentioned previously, Elise Rogner has recently discovered a school located in Hyakuji called Hyakuji High, which is specially catered towards students with unusual abilities. As a magic user, Elise Rogner grew curious about the school, and decided to do some research on it. After discovering that Hyakuji High was located in the countryside, where the rents were cheap, Elise Rogner began to consider moving to Hyakuji, and transferring to Hyakuji High. Elise Rogner, however, could not do it immediately as she was lacking funds, and she had to take on extra work to gather the funds required to move. Sadly for Elise, she could not sell her motorcycle since the competition bars her from reselling, although the chances of Elise selling the motorcycle she loves so much is very slim, so it probably didn't matter much at all.
Once Elise Rogner had made enough money to move to Hyakuji, and attend Hyakuji High, she submitted her transfer request. Elise Rogner has now just moved to Hyakuji High, and has registered herself into the Bracer Guild so that she has a stable income, and because the Bracer Guild has a lot of girls. She is still very unfamiliar with Hyakuji City, and Hyakuji High, and she has yet to properly introduce herself to anyone properly.
Kaneshima Island After spending some time at the Hyakuji Branch of the Bracer Guild, Elise Rogner finally decided to once again relocate, this time to Kaneshima. With quite a fair bit of money saved up from completing various requests at the Hyakuji Bracer Guild, Elise had enough money to rent out her own apartment.
Requesting a transfer to the Bracer Guild, Elise Rogner's name was transferred from the Hyakuji Bracer Guild to the Kaneshima Bracer Guild, where she plans keep a steady income and meet more girls. While Elise did consider joining Senki Academy, Elise eventually opted to transfer to the Shinomiya Girls' High School. While the tuition fees should have been well out of her league, Elise used certain connections she had established during her time in the Hyakuji Bracer Guild. Elise now looks forward to be surrounded by girls Elise now looks forward in continuing her role as a member of the Bracer Guild in this new location. |

Everyday necessities of modern day life, ranging from toothbrushes to money.
- Espoir
Espoir is the name of the staff which Elise Rogner uses. Much of the staff is made from ordinary metal whereas the gemstone is made from gemstone that react to the presence of magic to emit a faint glow. While it does not augment Elise's magic in any way, it does help her focus for some reason. It also provides Elise with a weapon to counter, and attack with, however the staff itself is not made to be a lethal weapon and is ultimately defensive weapon at most. The metal and gemstone are very sturdy, and could be used to parry a blow from a standard sword. While Elise often carries one, she actually has a small collection back in her room.
- Sony Xperia XZ
A Sony Xperia XZ from NTT Docomo. Elise Rogner generally has it with her at all times, and has the phone on a two year contract. How Elise ever got the money to afford the latest model is a mystery. Chances are Elise didn't buy it with her own money, either that, or she got lucky gambling. That probably doesn't count as Elise's own money though...
- BMW F 800 GT
A BMW F 800 GT touring motorcycle which Elise Rogner regularly tours on. Elise Rogner had the huge good fortune of actually winning it in a motorcycle magazine competition. The only problem was that she isn't allowed to sell it. She also had to get a side job back in Tokyo to pay for the ridiculously high insurance cost. Fortunately for Elise, her love of motorcycles somehow managed to motivate her enough to stick at her part time job until she was able to afford the insurance costs.

| Powers |
|---|
Elise Rogner, despite her interest in technology, has powers specialised at the opposite end of the spectrum. As one might expect from Elise's appearance, Elise is a magic user. While Elise does claim she has known about her power for a long time, and has had plenty of time to master it, Elise is actually shockingly clumsy when it comes to using her magic. Sometimes Elise may lose focus while casting, while at other times, her magic may just fail, and take no effect for no apparent reason. The situation is only made worse by the fact that Elise doesn't seem at all concerned when her magic fails, and instead shrugs it off rather than seek to improve herself so that it doesn't happen again in the future. It is perhaps because of that, Elise has yet to overcome that hurdle, and continues to make the same careless mistakes over and over again. Despite Elise's frequent mistakes, however, she appears to show high potential as a magic user.
While Elise Rogner does not actually require a staff to perform magic, Elise prefers to use a staff when casting magic as it helps her focus, or at least, Elise claims it helps her focus. The current staff Elise wields is Espoir, and while it has gemstone that is reactive to magic, it doesn't boost Elise's magic in any way whatsoever. The only real feature of the staff is that the gemstones light up when magic is surging through it, and at best, its magic capabilities end at being a torch in dark areas. When Elise is casting magic, a bright light surrounds her body.
Support Magic: Ameliorer Elise Rogner's magic is focused mainly around support, in other words, making others stronger rather than making herself stronger. Ameliorer is a form of combat augmentation magic which basically enhances the target of the spell's physical attributes. While at first, this may seem very simple and very effective, the odd method Elise goes about using her magic makes it a lot more complicated than it sounds.
Ameliorer, once cast, requires a five post recharge which starts the post following the post that the spell was cast on. While in the most simple terms, this spell augments the target's combat capabilities, it is actually an incredibly complicated process, and the effects of this spell are rarely ever the same. It can range from doing absolutely nothing, which comes as a result of Elise failing to cast Ameliorer properly, to having powerful effects when the spell if done to a high standard. The spell itself consists of three main stages. If at any of the stages the spell fails, then the entire spell fails. Each stage consists of a ten sided dice roll which will be done via the board's dice roll system within the topic the spell is being used, and each stage decides the various outcomes of the spell.
The first stage is used to determine the duration of Ameliorer, and will be the first roll presented in the post Ameliorer is used on. The duration refers to the length of time the target has their combat capabilities augmented for, and the duration generally ranges from between 3 to 5 posts depending on the outcome of the dice roll. A ten sided dice is rolled via the dice roll system. If the result is one (1), then the spell fails. If the result is between two to nine (2 to 9), then the duration of the spell will be for three (3) posts. If the result if ten (10), then the duration of the spell will be for five (5) posts.
The second stage is used to determine the strength and potency of Ameliorer, and will be the second roll presented in the post Ameliorer is used on. The strength and potency refers to the potency of the augmentation the target receives from Ameliorer, and the strength and potency generally ranges from between a two times (x2) boost and a three times (x3) boost in their combat capabilities depending on the result of the dice roll. If the result of the dice roll is one (1), then Ameliorer fails completely. If the result is between two to nine (2 to 9), then the target will receive a times two (x2) boost to their combat capabilities. If the result is ten (10), then the target will receive a times three (x3) boost to their combat capabilities.
Finally, the last stage is used to determine what exactly is boosted by Ameliorer. The third, and final roll presented in the post in which Ameliorer is used in decides determines this aspect of Ameliorer. While it has previously been mentioned that Ameliorer boosts combat capabilities, the obscure word combat capabilities was used purposely as what is boosted by Ameliorer depends on how well Elise is able to perform Ameliorer. Combat capabilities refers to four main attributes. Strength, which determines how much force a person is capable of generating, and includes things such as how hard a person can punch, or swing their sword, and how much weight they can lift. Speed, which is how agile and quick a person is, and includes things such as a person's running speed, reaction time, and thinking time. Defence or endurance, which refers to how much a person can withstand, and includes things such as strengthening of the skin, tolerance to pain, and stamina. Finally, spiritual, which essentially determines the strength of supernatural powers such as magic, chi, spiritual power, or anything similar. In most cases, Ameliorer is only able to augment one of these attributes, however is extremely lucky, Elise may at times be able to augment all four depending on the outcome of the dice roll. If the result of the dice roll is one (1), then it will result in the complete failure of Ameliorer. If the result is between two to three (2 to 3), then Ameliorer will boost the target's strength. If the result is between four to five (4 to 5), then the target's speed is boosted. If the result is between six to seven (6 to 7), then the target's endurance is boosted. If the result is between eight to nine (8 to 9), then the target's spiritual is boosted. Finally, if the result is ten (10), then all four combat capabilities is boosted.
As previously mentioned, if at any stage Ameliorer fails, then Ameliorer will fail completely. If Ameliorer fails, then the standard five post recharge will be required before Ameliorer is open to being used again. When Ameliorer is being cast, Elise must be in a situation where she is able to concentrate for a brief moment of time, which means she cannot cast while in the middle of being attacked. Furthermore, Elise will have no idea how the spell has turned out until after the Ameliorer has been used.
Elise does also have the option of reducing the failure rate if she decides to dedicate time to perform Ameliorer properly. If she opts to dedicate time to casting the spell, Ameliorer will require three posts to perform, and during these entire three posts, Elise will be unable to move, and must keep focus on performing the spell. In other words, she cannot be attacked for three entire posts. If successful, the result of one (1) can be treated the same as the result ten (10). However, there is still a chance of failure, which is determined by a fourth dice roll. On the fourth dice roll, if the result is either one or ten (1 or 10), then Ameliorer will fail completely. If the result is between two to nine (2 to 9), then Ameliorer is a success. Needless to say that this method of using Ameliorer isn't very practical for a proper fight.
[OOC Notes] Depending on how it goes, I may also use the dice roll topic for Ameliorer's roll so that rather than the target having to read what Ameliorer does, and work it out for themselves, I can explain the effect of Ameliorer on the target in my post. If I do use the dice roll thread, then the order of the dice rolls will remain the same. First dice roll is duration. Second is potency. Third is exact effect. I will also include a clause that will allow Elise to skip the dice rolls if permission during a plot thread for the dice rolls to be skipped because a certain effect is required for the plot. I will also include a clause to skip the dice roll if I want Elise to fail Ameliorer.
Support Spell: Sommeil Sommeil is another support spell, and a spell that Elise is more adept at using. Whereas Ameliorer is a support spell in the sense that it boosts an ally's performance, Sommeil is perhaps the partner to Ameliorer. In the fight or flight balance of things, Ameliorer would be the fight response whereas Sommeil would be the complementing flight response. In other words, Sommeil's main purpose is to escape a dangerous situation, and it is actually a combination of teleportation and time magic. It would actually be more accurate to call it space-time magic, however, more on the time side rather than space. As with Ameliorer, after being used once, Sommeil requires a three post recharge time, which starts on the post following the post that Sommeil was used on.
To put in simple terms, Sommeil allows Elise to completely stop time for one post, or ten seconds. Of course, that is the simple explanation, and there are several limits to what Sommeil can actually do. As mentioned, Sommeil is primary an escape magic, and not a fighting magic. In other words, it has no offensive capabilities whatsoever. While time is stopped, while Elise may be able to move, she is unable to alter the environment around her at all. Everything else, besides Elise herself, are completely fixed. Even a falling leaf would be impossible to move. If Elise did try to move it, it would be like a normal human trying to push a skyscraper. In other words, impossible. Also, as stated previously, Elise cannot change affect the environment around her whatsoever. This means even if she does attack someone while time has been frozen, it will have no effect on them whatsoever. In fact, say for example Elise did try to punch someone frozen in time, it would be like punching a brick wall. It would hurt her, but not the brick wall. The same concept can be applied to if she tried to Sommeil. Elise is also unable to use any magic during the duration of Sommeil, and cannot use Sommeil while she focusing on another magic. In other words, Elise cannot use Sommeil to buy time to cast a spell.
Now, this probably raises the question of what is the point of Sommeil. The point is that within that one post, or ten seconds, Elise is able to runaway. Within ten seconds, you can get incredibly far from someone, and since they won't have seen what in direction Elise has ran away into, it makes it very difficult for them to track her again. Sommeil, as a time stopping magic rather than a space manipulation magic comes with the benefit that Elise doesn't need to worry about appearing inside solid matter, however, it comes with the disadvantage of Elise being unable to reach anywhere she is physically incapable of reaching.
Sommeil also has a secondary function. At the cost of halving the total time from ten seconds to five seconds, Elise is able to bring a second person into Sommeil. There are, however, two special requirements that must be met. The first requirement is that Elise must have the target in mind when she casts Sommeil. The second requirement is that Elise must be touching that second person for them to be able to move, and the moment the target loses physical contact with Elise, they will be frozen in time as they should be. While Elise doesn't have to be in physical contact with the target when she fist casts Sommeil, she must come into physical contact with the target at some point during Sommeil for the target to be able to move during Sommeil. Needless to say, the same restrictions that apply to Elise during Sommeil also apply to the target, in the sense that the target cannot interfere with the environment. The main purpose for this function is to save an ally who is in potential danger, and yet again serves no offensive purpose whatsoever.
Collaboration Spell: Relier Relier is one of the most powerful spells that Elise Rogner has mastered, however it is also one of the most difficult spells to prepare and use. As suggested in the name, collaboration spell, it is a spell that requires a second person. Depending on who that second person is, the results of this spell will end up very differently. The ultimate idea of this spell is to connect the Elise Rogner with her target spiritually, and allow Elise Rogner access to her target's powers, and experience. While at first this may appear to be an incredibly power spell, the process of preparing the spell makes it very difficult to actually use in most situations. It is made even more difficult to use by the fact that Relier can only be used once per topic, or in terms of time, it requires one hour before a second cast.
The first hurdle that must be overcome is preparation time. Relier requires an incredible amount of concentration to prepare, and during that time, Elise will be unable to move or even pay attention to anything going on around her. Elise must remain concentrated on preparing for three entire posts in order to use Relier. On the third post Elise will be able to cast Relier. If Elise's concentration is broken at any point during preparation, then Elise will have to start preparations for Relier all over again.
The second hurdle that must be overcome is the connection between Elise Rogner and the target. Needless to say, the very first limitation is that the target of Relier must be willing to share their powers and experience with Elise for the brief period of time Relier is in effect. In other words, if the target of Relier is an opponent, or an non-consenting person, Relier will have no effect. The target must be willing for Relier to work.
If these two hurdles are passed, and Relier is successfully used, then the exact effect of Relier will depend on Relier's bond with her target. As mentioned previously, an enemy or unwilling person cannot be chosen as the target of Relier, and if chosen, Relier will have no effect. If the target is a willing person, but is a complete stranger to Elise, then Relier will also have no effect. The target must at least be someone that Elise knows for Relier to have an effect. The lowest level of bond required for Relier to be successful would be a class mate or work colleague. This level of bond is referred to as a level one (level 1) bond, and is the lowest level bond that Relier will work with. Anything below is classified as a level zero (level 0) bond, and is not suitable for Relier. A level one bond allows Elise access to one random power for one post of her target. That random power is chosen through a dice roll, with the result of the dice roll indicating which power is shared. For example, if the dice roll result is one (1), then the first power listed on that character's profile is shared. If the dice roll result is two (2), then the second power listed on the target's profile is shared. The number of sides on the dice is the number of powers the target has plus one. For example, if a person has three powers, the number of sides the dice will have is four. If the dice roll result is a number above the number of powers the target has, then it means that Relier has failed completely. In this case, Relier is considered used, and therefore cannot be used again for the duration of the topic.
If the target considers Elise a good friend, then they are classified as a level two (level 2) bond. Friendship is broad in its definition, and can generally be considered anyone who is above a level one bond. If the target does not fit into a level zero, or level one bond, then they are a level two bond. If the target of Relier fits into a level two bond category, then Relier will allow Elise access to two of the target's powers for three posts. Any two powers on the target's profile can be chosen, and accessed by Elise for the duration of those three posts.
Finally, the highest level of bond is level three (level 3), and only genuine love passes for a level three bond. The target must actively love Elise for them to be considered a level three bond. A level three bond is the highest level bond, and yields the most effects. If the target is a person with a level three bond, then Elise is able to access all of their powers for five posts. It should be noted that while the target's bond with Elise Rogner is important for Relier, Elise's bond with the target isn't actually important at all. Relier is actually a magic that allows Elise access to the target's heart, and therefore it is the target's acceptance which is important, and not Elise's. For example, if the target might love Elise, and be classified as a level three bond, and Elise might only consider the target a friend, because the target perceives the bond as a level three bond, the effects of Relier will be determined as level three. However, if you reverse the situation, and the target sees Elise as just a friend, which is a level two bond, but Elise loves the target, then the effects of Relier will be on the scale of a level two bond because it is only the target's perception of the bond is what is important.
Ultimate Spell: Amour Elise Rogner's ultimate spell that allows her to make anyone of her choosing fall in love with her. Or at least, that is what Elise claims. It actually does nothing. |
