"I'm Andromeda Fedorovna Emelianenka, and I'm born to fight. Whether in a dojo, in a colosseum, or in the back alleys of St. Petersburg, I love a good fight." It was a late afternoon turning to early evening after classes, and for a certain blonde half-Russian Amazon, it would be the perfect time to head out to the wilds of the island for her training routine, except... that she wouldn't be going anywhere outdoors in the current weather, as outside the gym building the wind howled amidst the intermittent rumble of thunder and flashes of lighting as raindrops lashed against the windows. And as much as Andromeda is an adherent of The As such, Andromeda would find herself being forced - by circumstance - to make do with an indoor facility and modern training equipment she admittedly wasn't too fond of; the blonde warrior would very much go jogging through the forested foothills of Mount Kaneshima, or carrying jugs of waters up and down the slopes, than to be running on a treadmill or pumping irons. Still, it was nice and cosy indoors compared to outside, a thought that Andromeda couldn't help but chide herself for. As the raindrops made their drumming noise against the window panes, inside one of the training halls at the gym complex was another set of drumming, as Andromeda pummeled away at a dummy with a series of punches and kicks, every blow making an audible thump on impact. "Could sure use an opponent," the Amazon muttered in Russian as she paused her no-holds barred beatdown on the training dummy to get a drink of water from the water canteen she'd brought along, before glancing sideways at her own reflection in a nearby mirror; the blonde warrior was dressed in her usual after-class attire of a blue sports bra and matching bike shorts with white accents, and white trainers with low-rise wool socks, with her white track jacket tied around her waist, and for purposes of training, a pair of black MMA gloves with dark blue accents adorned her hands, along with matching leg guards. Untying her scrunchie, Andromeda would let her hair down for a moment to tidy up her blonde bangs and smooth out her tresses before re-tying her ponytail and stretching herself out, looking to get back to her training... or at least was intending to, till she heard the door being pushed open, barely audible above the sound of the MP3 tracks being played on her headphones, causing her to glance over her shoulder as she found that she was no longer alone. |

Andromeda's situation wasn't too different from Einhart. While she held no opposition to using modern training equipment, she preferred not to use the school's facilities whenever she had the chance. Not only were they simply dissimilar from the equipment she was familiar with, back home, but she still preferred solitude over crowds. Einhart didn't do too well in social situations. It was a miracle that her love for martial arts allowed her to pull herself together. She would always do her best to avoid the gym, but this time, it seemed like it would be empty.. and she really didn't feel like braving the storm just quite now. The rain would deeeefinitely not treat her clothes well... Plus, she had homework. While her books would normally be able to stand a little rain, this was a little bit too intense. The small journey to the dorms would definitely leave the materials unfettered, but travelling all the way back home, towards the gym... Yeah, that was a no-go. She had to wait until the storm settled down, if at least just a little. But her training couldn't wait that long. She couldn't simply let her body grow tired. It had already been stressful to simply attend to the school's activities all day, without letting her body have the exercise it needed. The day had already felt like it had dragged on longer than all of those before, she could not simpl wait for the storm to settle and then go home and do some training. She had to do something now. She just hoped it was relatively empty. Einhart switched to her gym uniform, not quite having her proper training attire with her here. It'd be uncomfortable to go through her training in her bloomers and her shirt, but it'd have to do. She changed, and entered the room without as much as gloves or ankleguards. She didn't desire to use anything but her own, which she happened to leave back home. ... Thankfully, it was mostly empty. There was just one girl, who was also training. Einhart let out a tiny whimper, before turning her head away and responding with an uncomfortable "...Hello..." ... She walked to the side opposite of Andromeda, making as much space between them as she could muster, before she started setting up and moving equipment about. She didn't want to be in Andromeda's way, and she was equally wary of the opposite... but, really, she preferred relative loneliness when it came to this. She really hoped Andromeda wasn't one of those social butterflies... |

"Hi," Came Andromeda's pretty straightforward and impassive reply as the green-haired and oddly heterochromatic-eyed girl who just entered the training hall gave a sheepish greeting to the Amazon - judging from her attire, it would appear that she came here for a workout as well; although generally outside of PE lessons Andromeda generally preferred to wear her own tracksuit rather than the school-issued gym uniform. "New student here?" the blonde asked, glancing over her shoulder at the other girl as she was setting up her own equipment for training - now Andromeda wasn't exactly the most outgoing or sociable girl on the campus, but being a warrior by nature the Amazon generally had a thing for remembering a face whenever she sees one, a skill that proved useful given her current post in the Student Council - and she certainly didn't remember seeing the green-haired girl's face around before. "Name's Andromeda Fedorovna Emelianenka," came the blonde warrior's frigid introduction as she marched up to a punching bag, going into a fighting stance before delivering a two rapid left jabs and a right cross to it, sending it rocking back and forth. "Class 1A, student council; you can call me Andromeda if my name sounds too long," the Amazon never took her gaze off the punching bag as she continued to devastate it with a series of forceful blows, a left straight that send it swinging backwards, and as it swung back towards her the blonde warrior would lift her right leg, knee bent and folded close to her chest - before lunging forward to deliver a Spartan Kick. "Don't let me keep you from doing whatever you wish to do," Andromeda remarked as she stopped the punching bag's swing with an outstretched palm, briefly glancing over to the green-haired girl to give her an expressionless nod, a gesture for the other girl to relax and make herself at home and focus on her own workout. "It's hard to focus on training without a calm mind, you know," the blonde warrior commented as she took the punching bag off its hook to carry it on her shoulders before heading to the centre of the mat, diving to the ground to slam the punching bag onto the floor with her on top of it, before pummeling it with a series of punches as she worked on practicing her ground and pound. |

Um Okay This... this is awkward. She expected silence, but the tall lady seemed interested in holding a conversation. Einhart... didn't quite know how to respond. She really wasn't trying to be rude or anything, but she awkwardly continued preparing her own regiment. It mostly consisted of mats and a punching bag, but she also put out some wooden horses for stretching practice. She had some more professional gear for it back home, but she didn't know if the school had any... and even if they did, they might not be properly calibrated for her use. That'd be a problem. She started fiddling with the punching bag, as it was set up, however, putting the two wooden horses in front of it. She climbed up and set her feet on them, shifting them slightly so she would be bent out of position. It was... an unique way to train. She intentionally unbalanced herself, and while the mats were covering for the horses, if she fell, she was probably going to hurt herself. There was really no point to doing this, not for any normal person, but Einhart's self-training had grown more and more obscure. Maybe she could improve her strikes in a situation where she was caught painfully off balance? If her legs were tied and she had to fend off something with just her fists? ... ... Einhart started punching the bag, before letting her eyes drift off to Andromeda as she lifted that whole bag up and slammed it onto the floor. So she was that kind of fighter...? Interesting. While the punches hadn't caught her attention, this did for a moment cause her eyes to shift. And finally, she would respond. Her voice was oddly meek, even as she threw out punch after punch at that bag. She found herself in her element, and she felt herself at enough ease to finally throw back some words. "...Umm... I-I find talking quite... difficult. My name is Einhart Stratos, I was originally a student at Hyakuji..." she mumbled. Andromeda was right about the calm mind thing, but hey, maybe that was something she needed to practice, too...? |

"Well met, Einhart," Andromeda nodded as the heterochromatic girl introduced herself meekly, in a stark contrast to the fighting moves she displayed during her training... although the Amazon would raise an eyebrow ever so slightly, briefly - as in blink and you'll miss it - breaking her mask of stoicism at Einhart's mention of Hyakuji. "Wait, did you just say... Hyakuji?" the Amazon asked, her body language shifting even as her expression didn't - her posture suggestive of excitement on the part of the blonde warrior. "I've heard of that place - apparently lots of stuff happened over at Hyakuji," Andromeda added, recounting that she'd heard a bit of accounts from some of the students who were transfers from Hyakuji High. "Like really big stuff - world in danger, and how they helped to save the day and all... I know because tongues start to wag whenever a transfer from Hyakuji is around," the Amazon commented, before inexplicably giving a polite bow to Einhart. "So that being said, can you be my sparring partner?" Andromeda asked, her cold blue eyes igniting with an azure blaze as she stared eye to eye with Einhart. "I've heard stories of Hyakuji's students, and I would like to have an opportunity to learn from the best... please?" although given the Amazon's emotionless voice and deadpan expression, it was hard to tell whether she was asking nicely, or making a demand. Einhart retained her footing and turned herself to look at the amazoness as she spoke. Was it really such a big deal...? They kinda did do the 'save the world' thing, but honestly, for how important it was, it never really processed in Einhart's head that it was, well, important. Everyone just kinda did what they had to do... "I guess you're not wrong." she said, before suddenly actually squirming and losing her balance when Andromeda made that polite bow- and, well, especially the statement she made after. She felt some sort of tenseness well up inside of her, and her legs withdrew from the horses she had setup. She wanted to elegantly hop off the horses, but her sudden embarrassment made it rather difficult to retain her footing as her feet tensed up on the ground. She slipped, fell over, and only barely stopped herself from smashing her face right into the ground below. It kind of looked amateurish- rather than professionally breaking her fall, she simply unelegantly covered her face as she laid there for a few moments. Einhart wasn't very used to being complimented or treated with this much respect. Rather- she knew how it was to be respected as a teacher, but this felt a little bit different. This wasn't someone that was looking to be taught, this person wanted an actual sparring match. She slowly pushed herself to her feet, pressing one hand on her face just to make sure she was completely uninjured- "I... I haven't sparred with someone in quite a while. I-I've just dedicated myself to teaching younger students- I don't know if I'm quite up to something like sparring anymore..." She swallowed her pride and lied, turning her head away from Andromeda. Einhart wasn't a good liar, though, not at all. Her tone turned rather squeaky and meek, her eyes were wandering all around the place and she now refused to make eye-contact with the person in front of her. ... To be honest, Einhart saw no point in sparring. It wasn't like she thought Andromeda might be weak, or even that she might be too strong... her intense will for competition had been crippled. Following in his footsteps made her feel empty. |

If Andromeda was the sort for overt displays of emotion, then Einhart's statement would've elicited a "pshaw" and a hearty chuckle out of the Amazon, but instead the blonde warrior simply nodded gently as she closed her eyes thoughtfully and her hands on her hips at the heterochromatic-eyed girl's remark on how it's been a long while since she last sparred, and how she dedicated her time these days to teaching younger students. "Wouldn't a spar be a learning session then? The objective of a friendly duel is not to win afterall, but to serve as an exchange of pointers and ideas through a mutual showcase of one's fighting abilities," Andromeda didn't want to sound like the sort who wouldn't take no for an answer and come across as a persistent creepy fangirl, but Einhart's reasoning wasn't exactly the founded on a particularly sound logic. "Besides, as a first-year student here wouldn't that make me your junior?" Andromeda added as she looked up again at Einhart, slowly taking her hands off her hips and placing them by her side. She hadn't been one to read through the profile of every student via the Student Council's access to the school roster, but considering Einhart was a transfer from Hyakuji, it would mean she has spent some time there, making her a second-year at least, which ostensibly makes the emerald-haired girl the Amazon's senior. "So, wouldn't you have something to teach a younger student right here?" And without further ado the blonde warrior would get into position, her legs spaced wide apart and upper body shifted forward for stability, hands raised in readiness as she clenched and relaxed her fists, ready to go into either a striking or grappling stance depending on the situation. "So, would Einhart-senpai have any pointers for this young Amazon here?" Andromeda wasn't really one for Japanese honourifics given her Greek-Russian descent, but given her current situation she found its use most fitting - although her deadpan tone made it hard to tell whether she'd meant it as a term of respect or endearment, or simply sarcasm as she stepped side to side, walking in a slow circular path around Einhart to observe her from every angle like a wolf stalking a deer. Except, Andromeda would like to find out who's the wolf and who's the deer here. |

Technically, Andromeda was correct. Even though she seemed to be the only girl in all of Senki Academy to outpace her in height, she was still her junior. And even if Andromeda wasn't her junior in age, there was no way she wasn't going to be her junior in experience. Were Einhart a little more socially controlling, she would've done her best to steer the subject away from this. She could see that Andromeda was just trying to push her into something she had no real desire to do- but it had grown difficult to resist the allure of teaching people. There was nothing more exciting than growth. Now that even her body had reached its peak, she had to search for that delight in other people- and really, if Andromeda wanted assistance in finding her way to grow, there was no way Einhart could say no. ... But did she really want to learn something? Even if she did want to learn something, her posture wasn't exactly inviting. Andromeda was bracing herself, her hands were ready. Even though Einhart had yet to give her consent, Andromeda was already ready to fight. Would Andromeda back down, even if she refused? Einhart was terrible in dealing with this forceful kind of person. It was probably going to be easier for her if she just went along with her desires- even if Einhart saw it as nothing but displeasure. "...Alright. If you really want to." Einhart made no attempt to hide her hesitance. While her eyes followed Andromeda's footsteps, she didn't take any stance. She simply stood there, and waited, for Andromeda to make the first move. |

"Thank you," Andromeda nodded as Einhart agreed; and with her consent it would mean that the Amazon could finally kick her gear into full throttle - or as close to full throttle as she can get without resorting (yet) to her combat transformation. Although as Andromeda circled her senior, something struck the Amazon as being off about Einhart... namely the other girl's lack of a fighting stance. Either it meant she wasn't trained as a physical combatant, or it meant she was a master without peer - afterall, stances tend to give hints as to what moves a fighter might make; and a fighter without a stance is one that is all the more difficult to read. Still, Andromeda wasn't about to spend all day doing nothing but circle around her opponent - she'd just have to take her chances; and just like that the Amazon would go from slowly circling and sizing up her opponent, to leaping straight into action as she would close the gap in a couple of fleet-footed strides, testing her senior's defenses with a one-two combo consisting of first a pair of left jabs in rapid succession aimed at the face, trying to bait Einhart into guarding high, and said jabs would be followed-up with the blonde warrior pivoting around to throw a more forceful straight aimed at the midsection. |

Einhart drew no stance. Her arms rested calm. Her entire body stood in serenity. She made not a single movement until Andromeda did. Not even a single twitch would waste her energy. The only parts of her body that moved where her face and eyes that tracked and trailed Andromeda. Not until she moved first, would Einhart moved. ...And she moved... too slowly? Einhart simply didn't react to the first jab. While she made the slightest adjustment of her head to minimize the damage she would take, she didn't raise her hands in guard. She shifted her chin, clenched her jaw and shifted her neck, before simply letting it hit. ...Obviously, it hurt. Einhart wasn't a superhuman. But she didn't even make an attempt to dodge it. If she wanted to, she could've definitely stopped those punches with her hands- that wouldn't even require an expert level of skill! If she just had her fists raised, any competent fighter would be able to guard a simple pair of jabs like that. There was no advantage to Einhart taking that initial hit. While she had a strategy, it was nothing to speak of. She thought not of how to make herself win. She simply wanted to assess her opponent. How hard could she punch? How fast could she throw a jab? How much strength was in her fist? While one can gleam these things with a dodge, there's no tighter experience than simply letting something hit you. And to do that, she gave her a free hit. The initial jab wouldn't be enough to put her out of commission. For the second hit, she would shift and sway her upper body slightly. Her arms had yet to move, aside from a mild clench when the pain ran through her head. Only when Andromeda pivoted, would Einhart jump to the offense. Einhart moved to counter Andromeda's straight with a grapple. She crouched her body forward and moved both of her arms to grasp at Andromeda's wrists. ...Wait, oww, her figure had changed a lot since she last did this. Annoying. Getting punched in the chest wasn't entirely too comfortable. While her sensitive cushions would stop the blow (and it was probably more painful than just taking it or blocking it!), her both hands would move to cling around her wrist. She would instantly shift forward, moving herself underneath Andromeda's arm, painfully twisting it in the process, before returnig sideways, back facing Andromeda. If the grapple was successful, Einhart would nudge her head against Andromeda's shoulder, before throwing her weight into a roll. Unless Andromeda had the sheer physical strength to overwhelm a grapple like this, she'd be forced to go with. While it would be the perfect way to set up a submission hold, if the grapple succeeded all the way, Einhart would simply let her go and stand back up. She saw no reason to apply a submission hold in a simple spar. |

And Andromeda had to admit, Einhart certainly knows her stuff - that despite taking the first shot head-on she was able to turn the tables as the Amazon's straight came in, the blonde warrior would find her punch countered by a grab to the wrist which transitioned into a wristlock - a simple but effective pain compliance hold. The Amazon would initially attempt to power her way out of said hold, only to find that despite her opponent's slight build Einhart certainly wasn't beneath her in the strength department! With said hold, Einhart would find little difficulty in controlling the blonde warrior, moving her into position and setting her up for a shoulder throw, sending Andromeda flipping right over her head and crashing onto the mat. As the Amazon hit the floor, Einhart would release, allowing Andromeda to roll backwards to put a distance between themselves. "Good timing and execution on that one, I must say, coupled with the fact you didn't adopt any stances I never saw that one coming," Andromeda remarked as she picked herself up, lifting her right hand to her head and giving a casual salute as a gesture of respect. Looks like she'd have quite a lot to learn from this heterochromatic-eyed girl, as the Amazon got back into her fighting stance, slowly circling around Einhart as she tried to probe the other girl's nonexistent stance for openings, closing in until she was barely a couple paces away. For a few seconds, it Andromeda would do nothing except engage in a staredown, and then the Amazon struck - were this a scene from a shonen anime, it would be that moment when the screen goes black and a close-up shot of Andromeda's face would fill the screen as a bolt of lightning flashes across the background. A squint of the eyes, followed by a faint squeak of rubber soles rubbing against the mat was all that telegraphed Andromeda's movements as the Amazon sprang into action, raising her fists as if to throw a punch, only to duck down at the last split second and make a charge at Einhart's waist, attempting to tackle the other girl by slamming her right shoulder against her gut, and should the blonde warrior's tackle connect she would simultaneously wrap her arms around Einhart's legs, using the momentum of her charge and the green-haired girl's off-balance state to lift her to shoulder level before diving forward to slam her back-first onto the mat in a double leg takedown, a staple of her Pankration style which is also an indispensable part of a MMA fighter's repertoire! Normally, the move would've been used as a setup for a mount, an ideal position for a ground and pound - should the takedown attempt succeed. But for a casual sparring like this Andromeda would follow Einhart's example, getting off the other girl the moment she had her in a mount and guard position and stepping back to allow her to recover and continue. It worked. Of course it worked. Einhart couldn't see any other path than it 'working', and that told Einhart all she needed to know. Einhart's expression stood unchanging since the battle started; she wasn't excited, she wasn't worked up. Did her thoughts lay elsewhere, or did she simply take no joy in this? Even in her younger years, when she was much more emotionally stunted, Einhart still, at least, showed genuine enjoyment while in combat. Or rather, genuine enjoyment while she was winning in combat. But now? Nothing. "...Thank you." She threw Andromeda's earlier thanks back, giving her a light nod. She once more stood, watching, without taking any stance or pose. Again, she took no movement, and she put no pressure onto Andromeda. She simply let her take whatever move she wanted. ...Ah. A tackle, like the one she practiced on the punching bag earlier. Given the situation, it made sense. Einhart did not move. Einhart did not dodge. She simply let Andromeda's body meet her own. She felt her legs lifted, and she soon felt her body slammed down on the mat below. ...It genuinely felt wrong to ignore her instincts. It felt painful to ignore what her eyes told her, but there was no point to dodging this tackle. The takedown that followed, and her equal withdrawal. Einhart showed no change of expression, and even as she was slammed down in the mat below, she only gave Andromeda a mere nod. Once more, she rose to her rose to her feet. But this time, she actually seemed to take a stance. A simple one, her hands raised, and her legs taking the shape of an L, her left in front, and her right in the back. It was close and almost identical to a tae-kwon-do practitioner's l-stance. This... was awakening something in Einhart, a repressed emotion. But not the one she wanted. |

"Да, you're looking more lively already," Andromeda nodded at Einhart as the heterochromatic girl got up after the Amazon stepped back, before giving a slight bow at the other girl's expression of gratitude. "You're welcome," the blonde warrior remarked as Einhart took a stance for the first time in their session, probably a sign that she was taking things up a notch. As a Hyakuji veteran, she'd thus far lived up to Andromeda's expectations - and as such she could gladly up the ante herself as well. "She's gonna go for a high kick, no?" Andromeda thought as she assumed her own stance, with her upper body weight shifted slightly forward with her fists raised in front of her face, right leg forward and left leg behind her in a classic boxer's stance. The Amazon would take a couple of seconds to try to read Einhart's stance for any possible openings, before once again going on the offensive, closing the gap in a zig-zag path until she entered striking range, where the Amazon would duck down low in anticipation of an incoming high kick from Einhart, looking to counter with a one-two combo starting with a left straight aimed for the midsection followed by a right uppercut as she straightens up, with the first blow aimed at getting the green-haired girl to double over, so that she could finish her with a decisive uppercut to the chin! |

More... lively? That couldn't be right. She wasn't enjoying this. She couldn't be enjoying this. This fight was no different than once that had been repeated in her memories, thousands upon thousands of times. And she didn't want to fight anymore. It made her feel empty. There was no way that shew as enjoying this. There was no way this would liven her up. Her eyes, with their thousands of years of experience, stared straight at Andromeda as she moved. Her instinct, honed by the same length of time, stood strong. She watched as Andromeda weaved and zig-zagged, doing her best to not seem predictable... But it didn't matter. Einhart's stance was remniscient of Taekwondo, an art focused on high kicks. It was natural one would lower their body in response. Einhart's feet pivoted. She shifted her weight around in a fraction of a second, and her leg did aim for the sky. It arced up, right above Andromeda's head, the very instant that she ducked. For a split second, it'd probably seem like a successful dodge. Einhart's foot wouldn't even graze her. But before that instant was even over, her foot came slamming down, right at the back of Andromeda's skull. The amount of force behind her foot was overwhelming. Whilst not enough to be fatal, her foot carried more than enough momentum to end a fight. While it would be incorrect to say that Einhart wasn't holding back, her body was not treating this fight like a spar. ...even if it were only for this instant, her body saw it as a fight, and she moved to end it. |

As Einhart brought her leg up, for a moment Andromeda thought she had her opponent right where she wanted, the world seeming to enter into slow motion as her heart pounded heavily as she ducked, pulling her fist back - and then it all came crashing down as the Amazon's vision flashed white as the green-haired girl's foot found its mark on the back of the blonde warrior's head. Only, instead of a "thud" of impacting an unprotected human skull, Einhart's kick would end up making a curious "clang", as if she'd just struck a church bell. The force of her strike sent Andromeda crashing face-first to the mat - however, the Amazon would only be down for no more than a few fleeting seconds as she picked herself back up, her head having transformed into living bronze for those few seconds before returning to normal. "Ugh, I must say, even managed to feel that one through the armour," Andromeda remarked as she rubbed the back of her head. "Figured these would somehow get in the way," the Amazon mused as she glanced at her gloved hands. And with the ripping sound of velcro being unfastened, Andromeda would slip off her MMA gloves and toss them aside - and the leg guards would likewise follow suit as she opted to ditch her protective gear, facing down against Einhart with naught but the clothes on her back and her bare hands. Giving Einhart a nod once she was ready, this time beckoning for her jade-haired senior to go on the offensive for a change. |

...Huh. That was not the sensation of a human's skull. It didn't break. It wasn't crushed. It felt like kicking someone through layered armour- something her bare feet couldn't truly just rip through. But even then, for just a few seconds, Andromeda looked... out for the count. Einhart stepped her foot back, and staggered for just a moment. That wasn't what she meant to do. The sight of her opponent laying on the mat, like that, was enough to drag her right back to reality. This was a spar, not a fight. Did she knock Andromeda out? Umm, that was dangerous, right? Losing consciousness from a blow to the head was a terrible, terrible sign. Should she call someone? Um, she could grab her phone and call Vivio, but- ... Oh, thank god. Within just a few seconds, the Amazon dragged herself back together. She spoke and even lifted herself up to her feet. It seemed like she was just fine. It definitely seem like the impact hurt her, but if she dragged herself back to her feet this fast, she probably hadn't injured her. That... was really scary. The emotion that had gathered in Einhart's eyes quickly faded. The heat that coursed through her body dissipated. Why did she... why did she do something like that, when a more gentle counter would suffice? If it weren't for that armour... Einhart let out a single, light gulp, before speaking softly. Her tone was insecure, and even shakier than before. The strength from her voice was gone, and if the shift in her expression wasn't clear, her voice would probably do little to hide her shift in emotions. "...My apologies. I got a little carried away. Is that armour you speak of your power...?" When Andromeda moved to tackle her, she managed to successfully repress her instincts. Why couldn't she do so, after? Why did she go for such a deliberating attack, when nothing more than a dodge or a gentler counter would be necessary? Einhart... really couldn't understand. Why she just couldn't hold back, on that one move. Was it because the tackle hit her, and it leaved agitated. Or did she simply see Andromeda's next attack as a bigger danger than the tackle that would barely harm her? Einhart's mood definitely, quickly, started to shift right after the tackle hit her, but... Whatever it was- the sensation that overpowered her and forced her body to move was now gone. But would it return? Einhart shifted her stance, warping from a taekwondo-esque to boxing-like. Her fists covered her face and her legs stood straight, as she gently approached Andromeda. Her left fist would move first, jabbing lightly at her face, while her right would strike towards her gut immediately after. But... there was little force behind her hands. Einhart's strength was slowed by hesitation. While the strikes would definitely still pack a punch, it was definitely far less than what powered her earlier kick. Einhart knew, that given Andromeda's armour, a grapple would be wiser. They would bypass the thickness of her skin, but... Einhart couldn't trust herself, right now. While grapples themselves are often used to force submission, if pushed a little too far, they could easily break bones, or worse. ...ahh... she hadn't felt the emotion of fighting, truly, in more than a year. It felt so, so weird. Edited by Hayate, Apr 5 2017, 02:13 AM.

Andromeda nodded as Einhart took her stance, as her senior raised her fists over her face and with a single fluid motion would close the gap, her steps light and gentle, almost as if she were a fairy drifting through the air. As Einhart threw her left jab, Andromeda would tilt her head to the right to allow the punch to whiff right past her ear, although it would leave her wide open to a right hand the jade-haired girl, which struck Andromeda squarely in the abdomen... to no discernible effect as her torso armoured-up right before Einhart's punch landed, absorbing the hit with a dull "clank". "Good moves, but technique needs to be backed by power," a whisper would escape from the blonde warrior's lips. With the two girls practically face-to-face with each other, Andromeda knew this was a perfect opportunity to swing the tide of their match. As soon as Einhart's right punch landed ineffectually against the Amazon's armour, Andromeda would attempt to wrap her arms around Einhart, her own arms going underneath the jade-haired senior's to encircle behind her back in a bear hug. Should Andromeda manage to take hold of Einhart, with a practiced motion she would attempt to lift her opponent off the ground while falling backwards to flip her overhead and slam her onto the mat in a belly to belly suplex! |

Her armour was still functional, as expected. She felt the solidity of something far beyond any skin or clothing, and she simply withdrew her hand. She made no attempt to dodge or respond when the amazoness shifted behind her and put her into a grapple. A voice in her head practically screamed at her. It was trying to command her body, and tell her what to do. She did her best to resist. She did her best to silence out the ancient instincts her body were made for. She let the grapple and throw happen, and as her back slammed into the mat beneath, she simply sighed out all her breath, letting her body rest on the mat for a few seconds... "...This is pointless." Einhart spoke, letting herself sit up and dragging herself back onto her feet. Her voice sounded rather... antagonistic and unhappy, quite different from how the girl usually sounded. She turned away, frustrated. There was no merit to this. This would not help her improve. It was nothing but a childish tossing of fists. "...There is no benefit to continuing a spar I never desired." Her left hand moved up to her head as she spoke. It was starting to sting. Wait, were those thoughts her own? Where was this... anger coming from? Unbelievable. She scolded you. In the art of fighting. Tinnitus scattered through her ear. She felt dizzy, but for some reason, she still couldn't lower her guard. ...Even though Einhart would never get angry at something like this, her entire body was now revolting. |

Andromeda would roll backwards onto her hands and knees after her move sent Einhart sailing overhead to land on her back, the blonde warrior rising to her feet in a fighting stance, her weight shifted forward and her fists raised, nodding as her jade-haired senior got up seconds later - it was the point where the Amazon could start getting into the swing of things, her breathing deep and steady as she felt her heart pounding from a good workout. "да, let's do this," Andromeda thought. "...eh?" Andromeda muttered as Einhart remarked about how the whole affair was pointless. "Hey Einhart, are you alright?" the Amazon asked, somewhat confused by the turn of events as she went over to her senior, having all but forgotten about their spar and instead going over to check on the other girl as she extended a hand to Einhart in case she might need some assistance in moving around - if needed be, she was even ready to carry her senior to the infirmary on her back or in her arms. "Are you hurting somewhere? Should I get you to the infirmary?" the blonde warrior offered - while some scrapes and bruises are to be expected out of a full-contact spar like the kind that Andromeda was used to, it was considered a faux pas to strike one's sparring partner with the intention of causing injury - and Andromeda could only wonder, if she'd accidentally used too much force in throwing Einhart as she got lost in the moment. If that were indeed the case, it's really not something the Amazon could live with. |

Einhart's emotions had been all over the place in this fight. Earlier, she felt fear. She didn't want to fight. She didn't want to confront, what she had left behind. She didn't want to confront whom she had left behind. It amped up with some sort of contradictory excitement. Even if the fight wasn't anything different from anything she had fought before, something definitely burned within her. But she definitely got carried away. There was definitely a part of her that wanted to take even a simple spar as a serious fight. ...Then, once more, fear. Why did that part of her still exist? When she realized it still existed... she could suppress it, for a little while. Even if she couldn't quite understand where that sudden rush of excitement came from- hell, she couldn't quite understand the emotions that caused her to get so excited, she understood what happened. For some reason, she was carried away. ...But now? It was an emotion she couldn't quite place. The burning feeling in her heart was something she couldn't suppress. It made her voice arc out in a tone far different from what she was used to. Ever since those words slid into her ears, and since that second voice echoed into her mind... It couldn't be that, right? This couldn't be her own, right...? It felt like anger, but its flame of it was with an unmatched intensity. Einhart's hand moved down from her head. There was no silencing that anger anymore. Even if Einhart was a kind-hearted girl, something or someone was genuinely causing this to burn up inside of her. ...was it really all just because she felt scolded? No, it couldn't be. It had to be him, right? Einhart's heterochromatic eyes pierced into Andromeda. Those blue and purple orbs stared right into Andromeda's. "...do not speak to me, you third-rate practitioner." Her voice snapped out. Ahh, those definitely weren't words she wanted to say. Right after they slipped out of her mouth, she clutched her lips tight. Her teeth ground together as whetstone on metal. Yes, she was angry, she did feel a little bit insulted by Andromeda's words. But she definitely didn't feel this angry, right...? Her eyes dulled as her teeth clenched. That genuine fury was done. The lightest shivering and shock quivered through her eyes. Her expression softened, her features lightened up slightly, but she spoke again. "...I had no desire to engage in a spar. There is no reason to compare my capability to yours." Her words were a bit... gentler now. They sounded as if they were from a different source entirely. "...if we are limited by our desires not to hurt one another, and we aren't even scored in what we do, there is no use to competing..." Einhart took this more serious than anyone else. Even if it was a part of her she desperately tried to deny, her ability to fight was still the most important thing to her. With one final gulp, Einhart's voice and expression completely returned to normal. She stepped back twice, lowering her head. "...what... Am I even saying. I'm sorry." |
