Runa Shiragami is a quiet and introverted girl who has recently started working as a shrine maiden at Kaneshima Shrine. Runa Shiragami large keeps to herself and is not one to start a conversation, only ever engaging in conversation when someone else starts it. While her appearance might give the impression that she is shy, Runa Shiragami actually has no issues with conversing with others and doesn't show any symptom of being anxious or shy. Instead, Runa Shiragami simply just lacks the interest to start conversations. Runa Shiragami considers herself to be a observer rather than an actor and when possible, Runa Shiragami will simply silently observe rather than actively take part in a conversation.
Runa Shiragami is very calm and collected, only ever showing a limited number of emotions. While Runa Shiragami does come off as carefree, positive and cheerful, Runa Shiragami is also very distant at the same time. While Runa Shiragami may not show emotions such as anger or fear, she also doesn't show signs of affection or friendship. This is largely due to the fact that Runa Shiragami is unfamiliar with these concepts. While Runa Shiragami understands that other people feel these emotions and has emotions herself, having lived in solitude for an eternity, Runa Shiragami's emotions have largely been suppressed and limited. The nature of her existence also means that Runa Shiragami experiences certain emotions differently to humans.
Being unfamiliar to the world, very much everything is new to Runa Shiragami and she takes great interest in the world and the things that can be found in it. Runa Shiragami has a tendency to question a lot of things that would be common sense in the modern world and there are many things that Runa Shiragami struggles to understand. Things such as the concept of using money as a measurement of wealth and a means of exchange is one of the many things that Runa Shiragami struggles to understand. Runa Shiragami is also unaware of much of society's social norms and can come across as rude, which has gotten her in trouble with Amane Shinomiya on more than one occasion during her time working at Kaneshima Shrine. Runa Shiragami is also lacks the ability to properly show respect, treating everyone as equals. Despite working at a Shinto shrine, Runa Shiragami struggles to understand why people have build such places of worship despite being a Goddess herself. Runa Shiragami is perhaps the only shrine maiden to consider the Gods and Goddesses worshipped at Kaneshima Shrine to be no different from anyone you would see on the street which has earned her more than one warning from Amane Shinomiya.
In her short time in this world, there have been a number of things that have especially taken Runa Shiragami's interest. Runa Shiragami is fond of the moon and has spent many nights silently watching the moon for hours. As someone who has spent an eternity protecting Asteria, her perception of time differs from humans and while staring at the moon may be a long time for a human, it is but a moment for Runa Shiragami. Runa Shiragami has also taken a liking to sugar and often asks the other shrine maidens to bring her various sweets. |

| History |
|---|
Runa Shiragami is a girl who originally exists in an entirely plane of existence to that of the world Kaneshima Island exists in. Runa Shiragami originates from the same plane of existence as the world where Alteria exists, a world completely separate from that of the world Kaneshima Island exists in.
While the majority of Runa Shiragami's history lies within Alteria, that would require a explanation of Alteria. To summarise her role and history in Alteria, the world in which Alteria exists in differs greatly from that of the world Kaneshima Island exists in, with even the very concepts that govern the universes differing. Runa Shiragami can be considered the guardian and administrator of Asteria, the largest of the moons that orbit Alteria and also the heart of the universe in which Alteria exists in which is responsible for the creation of Alteria's world and the centre of the existence. Runa Shiragami's past can be summarised as watching over Asteria and if necessary, utilise its power if its existence is ever in danger. This is the job that Runa Shiragami has been tasked with and continues to bear.
Unlike many others who originally existed in another plane of existence, who had ended up becoming separated from their original world and lost in the world in which Kaneshima Island exists in, Runa Shiragami exists in both worlds. Runa Shiragami's true existence remains in Alteria, watching over Asteria while a second subordinate existence explores the world in which Kaneshima Island exists in.
Tasked to be the eternal guardian of Asteria, Runa Shiragami resides not on Alteria, but on its moon, Asteria, as its sole resident. It could be said that Runa Shiragami's existence in Alteria's world is no different from a concept in the sense that she simply exists to give a certain cause. In the case of Runa Shiragami, she exists to protect Asteria and therefore, just like a concept, she will eternally watch over Asteria and protect it in the event Asteria is placed in any danger.
However, unlike a concept we know, Runa Shiragami is a sentient being with her own will and emotions. In the world of Alteria, unlike the world Kaneshima Island exists in, many concepts exist as sentient beings and their actions can have affects that not only affect the world of Alteria, but also dimensions existing outside of it. From this, the Sea of Kakera, in which the Witches of the Kakera reside and derive their power from, was created. These Witches eventually established a connection with the world in which Kaneshima Island exists in and were able to freely pass between the Sea of Kakera.
As both the guardian and administrator of Asteria, Runa Shiragami holds supreme authority over all concepts that exist because of Asteria's existence. This includes both the world Alteria exists in and the Sea of Kakera. The connection between the Sea of Kakera and the world in which Kaneshima Island exists has allowed Runa Shiragami to also have a presence in the world Kaneshima Island exists in. However, this could be considered similar to a bug, or more accurate, a hack to allow an existence that should not be possible and for this reason Runa Shiragami possesses a very weak and unstable existence in the world of Kaneshima Island.
While Runa Shiragami's ability to use Asteria's power in the world Kaneshima Island exists in, she was able to create a second existence for herself so that she can experience the world she has been unable to in her own world.
Using her second existence within Kaneshima Island's world, Runa Shiragami has slowly started to learn about the world. Runa Shiragami currently serves at Kaneshima Shrine after making a request to Amane Shinomiya. Kaneshima Shrine serves as an important location for Runa Shiragami as it is the location where she first manifested when she created her secondary existence in the world. |

Asteria While having a presence in this world, Runa Shiragami is actually an existence that could be said to have first started in a separate world known as Alteria, a world existing in a separate plane of existence to that of the world Kaneshima Island and Senki Academy exist in. However, to say that her existence first started in the world of Alteria would be a mistake. Effectively, Alteria and Runa can be considered one and the same as the two cannot exist without the other.
While Runa Shiragami is little more than a young, silver haired girl lacking any particularly impressive power in the plane of existence that Kaneshima Island exists in, within Alteria's plane of existence, Runa Shiragami possesses multiple presences and while not officially acknowledged in modern Alteria as such, she is the true creator and Goddess of Alteria. Her existence is of such a scale within the Alteria's plane of existence that her existence is represented by Alteria's grandest moon, Asteria.
It would be no understatement to say that within the realm of existence that Alteria exists in, that the moon, Asteria, is the centre of existence for that plane of existence. Asteria's existence in Alteria is so unique that it can be considered the centre of not only Alteria's universe's existence, but the meeting point of every possible past, present and future. In other words, Asteria is a unique existence that exists in every timeline and every parallel of Alteria. If one were to go to Asteria, they would be able to freely travel through the infinite number of past, present and future Alteria.
Asteria's existence also affects the Sea of Kakera, another creation similar to Alteria, however existing in an entirely separate plane of existence to that of both the world where Alteria exists and the world where Kaneshima Island exists. While Asteria does not actually possess its own presence in the Sea of Kakera, Asteria does exist as a concept of creation which Witches of the Kakera derive their powers from as well as the foundation of every Witch of the Kakera's existence. Just as Alteria cannot exist without Asteria, the Sea of Kakera, as well as the Witches of the Kakera, also cannot exist without Asteria.
As the creator of both Alteria and the Sea of Kakera, powers derived from those worlds all originate from Asteria. The power to create worlds utilised by Witches of the Kakera as well as each Witch's own unique ability are just a piece of Asteria's power. The various kinds of magic, including the type of Ranked Magic used by Escalibor, are also creations of Asteria.
As stated, Runa Shiragami possesses multiple existences, however this statement is not entirely accurate. It would be more accurate to word it as Asteria possesses multiple existences and that Shiragami is one of those existences. Alone, Asteria is nothing more than a concept of creation with no will of its own. In order to utilise its power, Asteria is divided into a number of existences, many of which take human form and possess their own will. Runa Shiragami is one of these existence and can be considered the supreme authority of all Asteria's existence, having not only the full extent of Asteria's power at her disposal, but also overriding authority over all other existences connected to Asteria.
However, despite acting as the representative for Asteria, Runa Shiragami role is one of an Observer. Unlike the other existences connected to Asteria who may directly affect the world, Runa Shiragami simply remains neutral and observes. For as long as their is no threat posed against either her or Asteria, she will not act. In fact, it would be more accurate to say that she is forbidden from acting. Runa Shiragami's role is to preserve the not only the safety of Asteria, but also its independence, meaning that any action that does not threaten either of the two will receive no action.
Within the plane of existence that Alteria exists in, while Runa Shiragami does exist, she only does so within Asteria, acting as its guardian. Within Alteria itself, various other existences of Asteria that fall under the command of Runa Shiragami exist and actively involve themselves in the world, each representing a fundamental concept of Alteria. The Sea of Kakera is a special exception where Runa Shiragami does not directly have a presence in. While she is able to exert her will within the Sea of Kakera, her will is carried out in a similar fashion as to how Asteria enacts its will on Alteria, through the use of other existences connected to Asteria. While ranked below Runa Shiragami, the Witch of the Moon can be considered the the most influential of Asteria's existences that has a presence within the Sea of Kakera. However, even the Witch of the Moon must act according to Runa Shiragami's will.
The Runa Shiragami that exists within the plane of existence that Kaneshima Island exists it can be considered an exception. As the plane of existence is not one created by Asteria, while Runa Shiragami still is able to make use of Asteria's power, it is nowhere near on the same scale as her power in planes of existences that have been created by Asteria. Runa Shiragami's existence is also in a severely weakened state within the plane of existence Kaneshima Island exists in as Runa Shiragami, technically, should not exist. However, thanks to the connection between the Sea of Kakera and the plane Kaneshima Island exists in, in addition to Asteria's power, Runa Shiragami is able to exist within the plane Kaneshima Island exists in, however her existence can be considered fragile and similar to either a glitch or even a hack. An event that isn't naturally possible but is forcibly made to be possible by an outside influence. It is for this reason, the Runa Shiragami that exists in Kaneshima Island is largely powerless. |
| Passive Skills |
|---|
As a person originally from Alteria, the powers that Runa Shiragami possess fall under the same categories of powers which existed in Alteria. However, unlike her existence in Alteria, Runa Shiragami's existence in Kaneshima Island is both weak and unstable and while she can make some use of Asteria's power, it is virtually close to zero, meaning that Runa Shiragami does not possess the powers she would ordinarily possess in Alteria.
Passive Skills are powers that are constantly active and do not require activation. Depending on the Passive Skill, it may be possible to enable or disable the Passive Skill, but there also exist Passive Skills which cannot be disabled.
- The Will of Asteria 【Over Grade ・ Passive Skill ・ Support】
The Will of Asteria is the concept that allows for Runa Shiragami, as well as everything associated with Alteria and the Sea of Kakera, to exist. As part of Asteria's existence, Runa Shiragami is strongly affected by the Will of Asteria. As the existence of Asteria tasked with administrating and protecting Asteria, she has been given a very strict limitation on her existence. Runa Shiragami cannot interact with the world unless it is either to protect Asteria or herself. It is because of this Passive Skill that in Alteria, Runa Shiragami is unable to leave Asteria, as it would be considered interacting with the world.
In Kaneshima Island's world, the affect of the Will of Asteria has been weakened thanks to Asteria's limited influence in this world and Runa Shiragami is able to interact with the world and people in the world. However, that is not to say she is completely free of the Will of Asteria. Unless it is to defend herself, Runa Shiragami is forbidden from interfering with the development of the world. To better explain this, while Runa Shiragami is free to make friends, travel and enjoy the leisures of the world, she cannot actively disrupt any course of events within the world that does not threaten her own existence. For example, she cannot attack someone or break objects and she also cannot defend someone from an attack or stop someone from breaking an object.
Using the example of an RPG game, while the player is able to talk to NPCs, buy items from shops and eat food from restaurants, the player is usually unable to harm NPC characters. During cutscenes, if an NPC is scripted to die, the player cannot save them. This concept applies to Runa Shiragami. While she can interact with the world, she cannot interrupt the flow of the story unless it directly puts her existence in danger. Perhaps the easiest way to summarise this skill is that Runa Shiragami cannot attack unless she is actively being attacked. This Passive Skill cannot be disabled.
- Detached Existence 【Over Grade ・ Passive Skill ・ Support】
Detached Existence is a unique Passive Skill Runa Shiragami has acquired after coming to this world. As the Runa Shiragami of this world is a false existence created by the Runa Shiragami of Alteria, the existence of Runa Shiragami in this world is considered to be an entirely separate entity from that of the Runa Shiragami in Alteria. In theory, Runa Shiragami's true existence cannot exist outside of Alteria as she is bound by Asteria, however it is possible for Runa Shiragami to create a separate existence to explore the world and the Runa Shiragami that exists in this world is the result of that. Along with Asteria having very little influence in this world, this is one of the key reasons that Runa Shiragami's power is so limited in this world.
As a detached existence, Runa Shiragami lives in this world very differently from anyone else. Runa Shiragami will only exist in this world for as long as the Runa Shiragami of Alteria continues to support her existence. In other words, the relationship between the Runa Shiragami of Alteria and the Runa Shiragami of this world could be described to be no different from the relationship of a player and their character in a game. Runa Shiragami of Alteria may freely connect and disconnect. When the Runa Shiragami of Alteria is connected, Runa Shiragami will exist in this world and when she disconnects, the Runa Shiragami of this world will cease to exist for as long as the Runa Shiragami remains disconnected.
While Detached Existence does place heavy limits on Runa Shiragami's ability to use Asteria's power, it does also have its benefits. The first benefit is that as an existence that was directly created by the Runa Shiragami of Asteria, her existence works differently from the existences of those in this world. The Runa Shiragami of this world, while appearing as human, has a body that works very differently from that of humans of this world and things such as ageing does not affect the Runa Shiragami of this world. The second benefit is that because the Runa Shiragami of this world and the Runa Shiragami of Alteria are two completely separate existences, the Runa Shiragami of Alteria is unaffected by anything that happens to the Runa Shiragami of this world. The third and final benefit is that is the Runa Shiragami on this world suffers a fatal injury or dies, the Runa Shiragami of Alteria can simply recreate her. In fact, if the body of Runa Shiragami of this world has any fault with her body, Runa Shiragami can simply just erase and recreate her existence to remedy the fault. This even surpasses skills that specialise in permanently killing the immortal as while the memories may be shared between each Runa Shiragami, their existence itself is entirely different, no different from how one person's existence is different from another. However, this does require time and energy, meaning that if the Runa Shiragami of this world's existence is erased, her existence cannot be created immediately. This effectively means that if the Runa Shiragami of this world is killed or has her existence erased by the Runa Shiragami of Alteria in a topic, her existence cannot be recreated in the same topic. This Passive Skill cannot be disabled.
- Blessing of Asteria: Mind 【Over Grade . Passive Skill . Support】
Blessing of Asteria is a Passive Skill possessed by those whose existence is directly connected to Asteria. While the Blessing of Asteria is originally one Passive Skill that provides protection against a wide range of abilities, due to the low influence of Asteria in this world, the Blessing of Asteria has also been reduced to only a small fraction of its original strength. Blessing of Asteria: Mind can be considered a fragmented piece of Blessing of Asteria's original power.
Blessing of Asteria: Mind is a Passive Skill that protects Runa Shiragami's mind against abilities that affect the mind. This includes abilities that deal with either reading the mind or emotions as well as abilities that manipulate thoughts or emotions. While Blessing of Asteria: Mind also protects against illusions that directly affect the mind, it is ineffective against illusions that do not target the mind such as illusions that distort an area of the world directly rather than an individual's perception. Blessing of Asteria: Mind can also prevent telepathic thoughts from entering Runa Shiragami's mind. Blessing of Asteria: Mind can either be entirely disabled or selectively disabled, meaning that Runa Shiragami can choose to exempt the abilities of certain people she chooses from being affected by Blessing of Asteria: Mind.

Runa Shiragami's mana points has also been placed under strict limits due to the limited supply of mana she receives from Asteria while in Kaneshima Island's world.
Skills are similar to Ranked Magic in that they require to be activated by calling the Active Skill's name, however differ in the sense that rather than use mana, each Active Skill has its own maximum number of uses per topic.

| Ranked Magic |

As a person originally from Alteria, the powers that Runa Shiragami possess fall under the same categories of powers which existed in Alteria. However, unlike her existence in Alteria, Runa Shiragami's existence in Kaneshima Island is both weak and unstable and while she can make some use of Asteria's power, it is virtually close to zero, meaning that Runa Shiragami does not possess the powers she would ordinarily possess in Alteria.
Ranked Magic is a special kind of magic that exists within Alteria. Spells are divided into Grades, with Grade 10 being the weakest and Grade 1 being the most powerful spells. There also exist Under Grade Magic, which are spells that are considered weaker than Grade 10 and Over Grade Magic, which are spells considered more powerful than Grade 1. Potential from person to person differs greatly, however as Runa Shiragami is part of Asteria's existence, the creator and source of Ranked Magic, Runa Shiragami is capable of using even Over Grade Magic.
Spells come in three main categories. 【Offensive】 spells are spells designed to deal damage to the target. 【Support】 spells are spells that either buff or debuff the target. Finally, 【Summoning】 spells are spells that call for the assistance of summons to fight on the caster's behalf. Spells generally follow the below format.
Name of Spell 【Spell Grade ・ Mana Use ・ Spell Type】 Description of the spell.
Certain spells under Ranked Magic can be modified by adding certain words to the chant. For example, simply chanting 「Fireball」 would result in an ordinary fireball spell. However, by extending the chant, it is possible to enhance a spell. For example, 「Triplet Maximise Magic: Fireball」 would cast the spell three times and ensure the spell will delivery the maximum possible damage if it hits.
Enhancing a spell will increase the mana cost of the spell by the amount of mana points required by the enhancement. While multiple enhancements can be applied, the same enhancement cannot be applied more than once. Generally, only 【Offensive】 spells can be enhanced. 【Summoning】 and 【Support】 spells cannot be enhanced. Enhancements also cannot be used on Under Grade Magic and Over Grade Magic.
Spell Enhancements
- Twin 【Base > 50 ? +Base * 1 MP : +50 】
An enhancement that allows for a spell to be casted multiple times with one chant. Casts the spell twice. Cannot be used with Triplet.
- Triplet 【Base * 2 > 75 ? +Base * 2 MP : +75】
An enhancement that allows for a spell to be casted multiple times with one chant. Casts the spell three times. Cannot be used with Twin.
- Penetrate 【+50 MP】
An enhancement that counters resistances. Nullifies any passive resistance such as elemental or physical resistance. Cannot nullify immunities.
- Maximise 【+75 MP】
An enhancement that stabilises the damage of a spell. Ensures the spell deals its maximum possible damage.
- Boosted 【+100 MP】
An enhancement that raises a spell's grade. Raises the spell's Grade to Grade 1. This enhancement cannot be used if the spell is already a Grade 1 spell.
- Widen 【+50 MP】
An enhancement that increases a spells area of effect. Doubles the area of effect of the spell.
- Extend 【+50 MP】
An enhancement that increases a spell's maximum duration. Doubles the maximum duration of the spell.
Spells
- Summon Servant 【Grade 4 ・ 500 MP ・ Summoning】
A high level spell that summons a human servant. Depending on the caster's preference, the servant may either be a butler or maid. As a Grade 5 spell, it is possible to summon a fully sentient servant who will loyally follow their summoner's orders. While the servant lacks any offensive capabilities, making them no more dangerous than an ordinary person, the servant comes with a variety of Passive Skills and Skills that allow them to perform household tasks such as cooking and cleaning to a standard rivalling even experienced servants of the nobility.

Runa Shiragami's mana points has also been placed under strict limits due to the limited supply of mana she receives from Asteria while in Kaneshima Island's world.
Skills are similar to Ranked Magic in that they require to be activated by calling the Skill name, however differ in the sense that rather than use mana, each Skill has its own maximum number of uses per topic.

Literally nothing. Seriously, the only thing Runa Shiragami has is the clothes she is wearing.

| Powers |
|---|
