( ̄ω ̄)~♪ Name: Shun Gender: Male Age: 337 Height: 185cm Weight: 76kg Appearance: A simple man. ![]() Occupation: Wanderer Residency: Anywhere Personality: Shun is a person who could very easily be defined as a man of nature. Living his life day by day and worrying for no more than what he should have for dinner, Shun is a very down to earth and minimalistic person who can be happy with no more than the clothes on his back, proper two square meals a day and a large cloth for shelter from the sun and rain while he sleeps. At most, his most valuable belonging would be the tent he often props up for whenever he's staying at a place longer than two days. His easygoing and amiable demeanor often shows in how slow and relaxed he often takes his pace. He's never in any rush to do anything, and if he encounters a problem he would often take the simplest and easiest route he could find. It does unfortunately make him seem like a very lazy person, which he unfortunately is. Then again, he doesn't consider himself to have much, if any responsibilities other than those for himself and his lovers, Eva and Maria, seeing as he doesn't have very much to his name in the first place. While he does not exactly mind technology, he really cannot get used to them. History: Once upon a time deep in the lands of China, there was a dragon. A small and petty little dragon. So small he was, that his own family ditched him to die by himself because the dragon's proud family could not bear knowing they had such a weakling of a child. The small dragon lived on though. One might think it was because he was still a mythical dragon despite being small and weak. That was not the case, he was instead taken in by a human. A female, a strong human female. Which was strange to him, because in his eyes, she was the one who was small and weak. He was not in any state to complain however, more so when his own pride as a dragon had been shattered by his own family. The female would not have taken it any other way in any case, insisting that he stays considering he now has nowhere to call home. And so he stayed, longer than he himself had intended to stay. His newfound life ended up being surprisingly comfortable, and before long he had made daily habits that he stuck with and became quite attached to the place, the human village he stayed at, the people he interacted with, and lastly, the human female whom had helped him up when he had fallen to his lowest. Sadly she did not last very long. The female human had been fighting a fatal disease her whole life and there was no cure for it at the time. Her life ended early, far earlier than the long-aging dragon had liked, even for a human. After a long time of mourning, the dragon wished to move on. He bid goodbye to the village and the people that he had come to know and love, and set off on a very long journey to see the rest of the world. ~ There was once a man, who only ever introduced himself as Shun. He was a traveler, and he claimed to have travelled so much he had set foot on almost every patch of dirt in this world. Oddly enough, he still seemed like he was in his mid-twenties. The man did not seem to have very much material belonging, if at all. The only things he had been seen were with him were usually only a little knapsack with one change of clothes, a colapsible fishing pole and a tent. He never stays at a place for longer than a few weeks to a few months. Even at most he would only stay at a place for a year if he especially likes the place. The last place he had stayed for that long was a sleepy little city in the middle of a mountainous forest north of Japan. In a long time, perhaps even since he had first set out to travel across the world, he had the most eventful experience he could retell to people. There, he became a teacher to afford his day to day meal. For some reason the little city was also a kitchen sink for many sorts of trouble and events that needs fixing, so there was almost always something to look forward to every day. More importantly though, he also found himself a lover there. Two, rather. They made it work. Somehow. After a pretty long time by his travelling standard, the man decided to once again set out to see the world. With a promise that he would return for the two that mattered so much to him. The time has come for him to return. Powers and Abilities: Whispering Natura ~ Ripple of Life An unseen force or energy present within all living beings. It goes by many name, ki, mana, soul, blood, or even simply life force. The amount present within each beings may vary, between a very minuscle amount in a mice, or rich and abundant, collected for hundreds or thousand of years in a very aged tree. Most people can easily go on with their daily life knowing nothing about it, and for the most part its existence is ethereal, unassuming and forgettable. For some who bothered however, they have learned of a way to interact with these invisible forces of life, allowing them to alter the courses of nature with mere touch. Shun had been taught of such art by another practitioner in the early 1600s, and since then he had been practicing the art until today. For the most part, his experience in practicing this particular art had benefited him in subtle, often unnoticable ways, mainly by improving his life quality. While his dragon lineage is the actual reason for his inhumanly long life, he never denied that his exercise has kept him wholly healthy and free of illness for the past 300 years. He had never been tired or lethargic despite being a lazy bum, always seemingly having energy to spare, both physically and in his attitude. Along with not having very much actual responsibility, he has long since lived in tranquility, being able to stay relatively calm and clear-minded in any situation. Some who practices this art, mainly being martial artists, are known to be able to use their own life forces as weapons, an extension to their fists and kicks. Shun is not a stranger to such practices, admitting it to have been useful on a number of occasion, yet he's not one to actively pursue the field. More often than not, the youkai's application for such purpose are mainly for self-defense. It's not uncommon to hear martial artists being able to use their own life forces to strengthen their body, rendering flesh and bones to be as hard as iron, recovering from wounds and bruises at a significantly faster rate than regular medication, enduring longer and harsher punishment against their body, or even simply throwing a punch capable of tearing through brick walls with ease. Shun is also capable of much finer application of such techniques, being able to directly affect the flow of ki within other living beings with his own. Often it's to help people or to improve their health, but he knows how much harm he could do with it as well. Results do vary, however. Most of the time, these life energy are transparent. Unseen and nonexistent for many, even for those knowledgeable in their manipulation, they are simply regarded as a guiding force than explicitly a tool. Sometimes however, for those who truly puts all their effort in mastering these flow of life, they can harness enough of such energy to be able to physically materialize them and directly affect the outside world. Many of such practitioners are martial artists, who have dedicated much of their life in mastering the art. More due to his natural origin than anything, the dragon youkai naturally has an abundance of life energy within him, which makes it fairly easy for him to bring it out to the physical world by brute force, when needed. Finer and more subtle control is possible, and his favorite use of such technique is to create beautiful, and massive, patterns in the sky in various shapes and sizes, akin to that of a very customizable and overly excessive fireworks. It's something he learned during his worldwide trip, supposedly used in something called a danmaku. Not that he really understood what was happening, he just thought they looked pretty and wanted to make some himself. It became one of his hobbies along with fishing. Equipment: Fishing pole: Food... Water bottle: Water... Camping equipments and two spare clothing: And shelter. The three basic necessities for living. Toothbrush: And a toothbrush. |
