Enter Midori

Everyone was bundled in winter-wonderland outfits. Snuggled between gloves and ear muffs that kept heat in and the disdain of the ice cold wind out. Midori loved the winter, the falling snow, the lights, decorations, fireworks and festivals, it was all to die for. It wasn't until she had the pleasure of walking with the living again did she really appreciate the activities and joy of the season. With all the bad happening throughout the world, it was the time with family and giving of thanks that really made the world appear better.

Midori held her hands behind her back as she walked through the snow. Behind her, no foot prints or evidence of someone walking through about a foot of snow would appear. The Dojo had been closed due to it being after hours, but Midori was a rebel (in a way) and could easily phase through the locked doors that kept anyone else from entering. Honestly, though, the non-lockable windows were another easy entrance for the rebel students. Though it looked like she was to be the first bad girl to do so, as there was no one in sight as she walked through the wooden Dojo doors.

The heater was running, as Midori became a physical being to smell the wood and sweat of the training building. Why the Dojo, though? It was a small piece of her past that still existed today. Her father would train with her brothers in their Dojo, and she would come in and watch. Her father would always tell her she would be a great fighter one day. Back then, Midori had only worried about not burning the dinner her mother always made her help cook. The angel giggled at the thought.

With a spin, Midori leaned back and fell onto the group with a loud thud. Her long plum hair spread across the wooden floor and her arms rested above her head. Her outfit was sloppily laid about, but she didn't care. A smile ran across her face. "Peaceful.." she said under her breath, closing her eyes.

Being from a much warmer region, snow wasn't something new, but annoying. He had actually been caught out in the snowstorm and the dojo was the closest place. The door had been locked so the window was the best option. Almost amusingly easy, he had snuck into the locked Dojo. If Midori had bothered to check, she would of found a small puddle of water where he had landed prior. The building itself was cold so he got the heater going.

Old fashioned, wood burning. Simple to feed with the logs nearby. He had stayed there to dry off when Midori entered. Once content he was dry and warm, he decided to explore before walking into the main area. A girl was splayed on the ground there. Walking quietly, he approached her from the direction her head was pointed.

The blonde with the slightly bronzed skin tone leaned over her on his elbows, just a few inches from her face as his cheeks restedin his palms. "What's peaceful? Oh right. Boop." He pokes at her nose playfully. He was not garbed in anything that looked proper for winter. Not in the slightest.

Midori must've been off her game, as she definitely didn't sense the boy approach her and reach to touch her nose. His warmed skin pressed against her ice-cold nose. Her pupils dilated and she shot up from her resting position, instantly becoming intangible again. Probably more of a reflex at this point, due to unknown threats this world had. "Oh.." Her head slightly tilted. He wasn't dressed for winter, that was the first thing she noticed, her body raising from the ground as she floated to a standing position. "Uh.. The storm, it's peaceful."

While adjusting her clothes, as to seem like a proper girl, she tilted her head. "Climbed through the windows I presume?" She went straight for the obvious assumption. "I was wondering who had turned the heater on." She chuckled gently. "I was thinking the staff had been slacking." Although her features screamed young, youthful and in some way, childish, her voice was more mature. The thick Japanese accent in her voice was so apparent, that it was obvious any other language, if she spoke it, would be hard to understand.

"Do you attend Senki Academy?" Sort of a silly question, as he did look young. However, Midori was a great example of never judge a persons age by their appearance.

She became intangible, rose up, right through him. He stared a few seconds at the floor where she had been before looking up to see she was indeed still there. Had he gotten the drop on a ghost? He stood up slowly, still feeling a slight shover run down his spine. His tail curled just a bit and flicks up higher almost against his back.

He caught her examining him and used to prolonged stares, brought his hand to his abs and makes a finger, pointing up. "My face is up here, love." A small tease. He figured she was probably mentally questioning his attire during this storm.

"Second year, class B. My name is Wu Sun. As he said that he gives her a small smile and a playful wink. "So.. do I have a ghost of a chance in learning your name, beautiful spirit?"

Flirt with the ghost lady. Sound logic, Wu.

A second, maybe two, had she stopped to stare at his unusually body. Not that it was a bad unusual, just for someone his age it shocked her. She shook her head and looked back at his face. "Apologizes." Midori hadn't thought much about how offensive she could be to the living. When dead, those things sort of don't matter anymore. The only thing that bothers the dead is accidentally phasing through people and feeling or seeing their emotions, and much more. Raising her hand, she scratched her cheek gently, chuckling and clearing her throat.

"Nice to meet you Wu Sun." She instantly thought of Sun Wukong, history books portrayed him so interestingly. "The Monkey King." She leaned her head to the side, eyeing his tail. "Ah yes. Ironic that your parents named you that or... reincarnation?" She teased, he didn't strike her as the kind of guy to read many books.

The compliment was taken in and her cheeks raised, no color coming to them, "Aren't you the charmer?" Lifting up, she crossed her legs and floated before him. "Midori Hakari, 2nd year, class B as well." Her pearly whites exposed as she leaned towards him.

"Also, please refrain from calling me love." The tone in her voice was playful, not rude, but it would get the point across. "Feel free to just call me Midori."

"Parents named me that." He followed up her inquiry. He places his hands behind his head, elbows wide, not helping because his shirt was opened a bit further. He grins a bit. "No need to apologize. Many stare. It's not bad, but terrible when trying to hold a conversation." He chuckles a bit and gives her another small wink.

"Always~" He seemed a bit surprised, it was clear in his face when she told him she was a student in the same class. He chewed the inside of his cheek a bit as he looks away wistfully. "Oh.. Just a student.. I thought you were an actual ghost." He shakes his head slowly and perks up a bit. "Still.. Midori actually suits you. The green in your eyes matches the feel behind the name~"

He still played it up a little. Same class, huh? Maybe she can take me about town. A pretty girl on my arm isn't such a bad thing.

"Very well, I won't call you love. Don't get mad at me when I can't say 'I love you.' Heh~"

Midori chuckled nervously, "Sorry, I was trying to make a joke. I'm old-school, and not very funny.." She grinned with her teeth, her fang hanging over her lip as she closed her mouth.

When she mentioned she was a student, he became... sad? Just a student. Interesting. "Well, usually ghosts aren't physical. Those are usually just the spirits of the dead that roam the earth. I'm more of a... Mmm, Angel." He'd watch her torso twitch, and two very large, fluffy white wings spread from her back. They stretched across her, shaking free the tightness in the muscles. "We are called Guardians, but that's an entire store I'd rather not talk about...with a half-naked boy in front of me." She joked. As her wings spread out, her body became physical once more. It was slightly inconvenient that she became physical when her wings were spread, but it couldn't be helped.

The 'I love you' comment went untouched, as she was so young when she originally passed away, that "love" was only what she felt towards her parents. She wasn't worried about someone not being able to say it towards her, either. She'd gone almost eight-hundred years without hearing it, and could probably go another thousand without worry.

"My name is ironic, due to my name. I was actually born with blue eyes, but after a few years they developed into these bright green lamp eyes."
She was attempting to be funny, although probably failing horribly.

When her wings spread out, he seemed enthralled once again. Mind easily distracted it seemed. He reaches out and touches her wing, in particular, her left one, feeling the feathers, but also feeling the bone structure. It felt just like a bird's wing. "This.."

He seemed to stop for a moment as he realized he was feeling her up pretty much. This had to be akin to stroking a girl's leg out of the blue. He had a faint stain upon his cheeks and just gives a small chuckle at that. "A-ha... Sorry. I've never seen wings like these, er.. An angel.. Ever.."

He rubs the back of his head and smiles sheepishly. "Heh.. It's pretty cool."

He glances away for a moment, hoping she didn't think less of him for being all hands on.

Midori watched as he approached her, hand stretched out and looking to caress her wings. If she had not wanted him to touch her, she wouldn't have let him. Her vivid green eyes watched, and once he touched her wings shoulders dropped and she sighed. It was a warm, sensual feeling when a human (or rather the living) touched her wing. It wasn't how he described it, however, she didn't feel "felt up" on, nor did she think less of him. Her assumption was he had the same reaction to his tail, most of the time. Girls wanting to stroke it and play with it as it attempted to flick them away.

"No need to be sorry." The wing he was touching shivered and moved around his head. It would give him a hug and brush his hair away from his face before moving back into position. "They are beautiful things, most people couldn't help themselves, even if they wanted to." She joked.

"Thank you. Mine are this big due to my age. With each hundred years, your wings grow bigger, unless acts of good are done, then they can grow ... much MUCH bigger." She laughed. "But these are normal for being over eight-hundred years old."

"Oh.. I see.. Well.. Midori.." He places his hands on his hips and stands there, watching her quietly. "What shall we do while we lounge about this lazy evening?" He taps his elbow as he crosses his arms over his chest. "A strange predicament indeed. How does a Monkey King," he winked at her with that. "And an angel spend the rest of the day together?"

He left the idea up to her to see what she would suggest. He was curious as to what this girl would think up. All different and unusual to say the least. An angel? That seemed like fate then that he would chance upon such a being.

"I would suggest a place a little warmer if you're up for a trek, or we can just go over to the heater and hang out there, but it's more of a smaller room."
