It was late in the afternoon, Natalia had just finished overseeing and helping unpacking her luggage into her dorm room. Her detour to the shopping district had also taken a bit of time but she finally had some time to explore the school grounds. The grounds were really impressive, it was even slightly bigger then the mansion she grew up in. It almost had the same degree of facilities as well. Natalia was in awe that she would be living on the school grounds with so many other students, many of which she had witnessed walking around the grounds looking at her rather oddly, clearly they had not seen such a foreign student before.

Eventually, Natalia came across the dojo, upon looking inside she saw all kinds of gear for those who wanted to train. A small feeling of giddiness sprung up inside of her, she hadn't ever been in an actual dojo before. She had only been in her mansion's gym, was an actual dojo any different?

She began to make her way into the building only to feel her hat be knocked off her head once more. She pouted in annoyance as she turned back to see it once more lying on the ground with the small mammoth plush sticking slightly out of it. She pushed the mammoth plush back in before picking the hat back up and putting it on after she had entered the building.

It was surprisingly empty, she was expecting to see multiple students duelling with each other, a fluid and graceful yet forceful dance between two masters of the martial arts. She pouted once more, now what? Well, since she was there already, she could test out the equipment they had. She hadn't gotten exercise over the past few weeks due to preparations to come to Kaneshima island.

Looking around, there wasn't much equipment that she was familiar with. The best she could find was some wooden posts but even those seemed a bit confusing to her. It didn't seem like something that she could easily just hit, there were all these small wooden bits sticking out from the side. How was she supposed to train with this? If she just punched it, it'd go flying. So Natalia stood there staring with a pouting face at the wooden post that she had deemed her opponent, trying to figure out how to train with it.

Takashi walked to the dojo, carrying his gym bag which contained his gi. The dojo was usually empty at this time- the way he liked it best- though there could be a few students milling about. But luckily for him, unless it was the MMA club where he HAD to interact with others, he could just train on his own and nobody bothered him.

He took off his shoes and entered the dojo and stopped in surprise when he saw a strangely dressed girl staring intently at a training dummy.

He looked left and right to see if she was with someone then asked, "Are you lost?" He wondered if she could speak Japanese. She looked very foreign and out of place. "Or are you here to train?"

"Er...if you're here to train you aren't dressed right." He pointed to her hat and shoes and said, "Wait till one of the dojo leaders catches you. They'll have a heart attack if they see a hat and shoes inside the dojo. And you're supposed to have a gi. They're pretty uptight about it...as if having a gi or not will save you in a fight." He grumbled and walked off to the changing room to change.

When he came back out dressed in his gi, he cast another curious look at the girl before going to a dummy in the corner to train.

Her eyes kept glued to the post in an attempt to unravel the secrets of how someone like her could use it as a dummy. She didn't hear anyone come in until someone spoke out to her. She gave a small jump out of shock and turned to face the person who had called out to her. It seemed to be a boy only slightly taller then she was.

"Erm... Yes, I train." She voiced slowly, still not one hundred percent accurate on her grasp of pronouncing the language. It was going to be problematic, at least she could understand just fine. When the boy voiced a complaint about what she was wearing inside the dojo, she pouted and crossed her arms over her chest. Taking her shoes off was fine enough but she wasn't taking her hat off. "Hat stays." She said in a very final matter of fact statement. It seemed that she wouldn't be moving from that stance.

Thankfully the boy didn't seem to try and contest her point much, he seemed to simply go and change into some kind of rather simple martial arts outfit and began to go to one of the dummies in the corner, presumably to train. In the meantime Natalia had at the very least removed her shoes. She walked over standing a slight distance away watching the boy train intently, her gaze not seeming to falter at all.

Takashi began to warm up then start to practice a few punches. He could feel an almost searing gaze on his back and turned his head to see the girl staring intently at him as he trained. He hit the dummy a few more times then stopped and turned to the girl. "Er...just start practicing." He said. He demonstrated by jumping up and landing a resounding kick to the dummy's head.

He then turned to her, "let's see how you do."

It seemed that it was as simple as hitting the dummy. Natalia didn't know how she didn't consider that before, she assumed there might have been some other kind of ceremony or something of the like. Evidently she was incorrect however. That just made it easy for her, she could spar with it as if it was one of her regular opponents for the most part. Surely the dummy couldn't put up much of a challenge in comparison though.

Watching the boy it seemed like he was at least martially able, not bad at all, likely wouldn't be able to beat her though. He seemed to be interested to see how she would do. "All right." She nodded mainly to herself as she readier herself, taking a stance away from the dummy. Her legs were slightly apart and her body turned towards the dummy, a fist raised and her breathing had taken on a rhythmic tune.

*Crack*

With surprising speed she sent a fist towards the dummy's chest, the dummy in question was sent flying straight into the wall of the dojo. "Whaaa?" Natalia reacted in surprise, she was expecting the dummy to be made of stronger stuff then that. She began to pout, how would she ever be able to train if the dummy was that useless.

Takashi's mouth dropped open as the dummy was sent flying, hitting the wall of the dojo.
He looked at Natalia then began to laugh as he saw her expression. "I was not expecting that...How strong are you?" He said as he walked over to pick up the dummy. "Don't look so glum these things are re-fixable. " He proceeded to fix it back then turned to her, stopping when he noticed the pout had not gone away.

He ran a hand through his hair awkwardly then offered. "Er..." He said hesitantly. "If you would like, I can train with ya."

He gave her a crooked smile and said, "Takashi Yamada. Pleased to meetcha. "
